College of Eastern Utah as Far as Politics and Diplomatic Progression Discussion
I just want you to responded to the response question that already answered and give some thought and examples to this:Question 2: What were some of the primary ways in which nationalistic impulses were at work during the Era of Good Feelings? What were some of the main outcomes in the realm of economics, politics, and diplomacy?COLLAPSE During the “Era of Good Feeling” The primary ways in which nationalistic impulses were at work were settling slavery disputes between states and how the freedom of blacks must be kept. Also, because of the panic of 1819 the states were becoming less international since the British found cheaper places to buy cotton and other goods from (Shi, 307). The nationalists were joyful over the Missouri Compromise due to the fact that it made the state viable for slaves. Economics during the era of good feelings were all doing well until the panic of 1819. As stated above, the British stopped buying our goods which caused a financial panic and depression; new factor owners as well as farmers struggled greatly and were recklessly borrowing money even though they did not have the funds and outcomes to profit their cause (Shi, 307). As far as politics and diplomatic progression goes, the newly elected president, James Monroe, has announced the Missouri Compromise which had many supporters and had many non-supporters. The Monroe Doctrine was also a big political advance as well as a diplomatic one. It served as a beloved American foreign policy against the European nations. Monroe also purchased all of Florida in the transcontinental treaty and also expanded the Louisiana Purchase territory along the British and American border.
