For this section, you will write a short personal reflection essay describing your experience with your

social justice issue. Your essay should reflect on the following points, but remember this is not a Q&A;

it’s an essay, so you’ll be incorporating your thoughts about these points into your essay, rather than

simply writing short answers to each question.

1. How has your experience led you to focus on your chosen issue?

2. What have you learned about your issue—about the world—in the process of researching your

issue and envisioning your project?

3. How has this new knowledge or new understanding affected you?

4. What from this experience will you carry forward with you?

5. Why will you be an advocate for social justice and equity in the future and how, OR, why will you

choose not to be an advocate for social justice and equity in the future?
