please answer back to this post using from 100-150 words. thank you 1- Amanda, The peer review process continues to send copies of original manuscripts by postal mail predominantly. I suppose this could be to prevent any alteration/ editing of a researchers original work. The peer review process is significantly important to ensure the research published is high quality and can support clinical change (Ali & Watson, 2016). The peer-review process has been going on for over 200 years, ensuring quality work is submitted, holds the authors at a higher standard, and has become the norm to promote clinical and technological advancement (Ali & Watson, 2016). Considering this process has been occurring for such a long period of time and the familiarity with the postal mail way and its success there has been no reason to permanently alter this process. This process allows for a clear traceable way to track all edits and ensures no altering/ editing of the original work has occurred.ReferenceAli, P.A., & Watson, R. (2016).
