In a 2,500 word report, propose a specific business idea, analyse its feasibility, and reflect
on the idea generation and opportunity recognition processes used. Draw from relevant
course readings, market research, and your own experiences to support your answers.
Part 1: In approximately 1,250 words, describe the proposed business idea and its
strategy to exploit an identified business opportunity, which could come from Assessment
1. You must describe the business model behind your idea – prices, revenues, costs,
customers, marketing, operations, etc.
Part 2: In approximately 500 words, based on your proposal, assess the feasibility of the
business idea as well as your own entrepreneurial suitability to start this venture using the
criteria from class. You must use both the business-focused and person-focused criteria.
Part 3: In approximately 750 words, outline a plan to test and validate your business idea
up to launch. Identify what you want to discover at each stage, the results necessary to
progress the idea further, and justify the activities and sequence you have selected.
