This assignment is designed to allow you to explore a company or organization with a reputation for innovation of your own choice. You may choose a company or non-profit organization of your choice that is of any size or from any country.
Your assignment is as follows:
Make a personal choice of a company or organization that interests you, or one that you wish to study, with a focus on their innovation activities. Invest time in research. Your presentation for this assignment will require a minimum of four references.
Your presentation should include the following sections:
Title slide with the name of the company and a slide with an agenda of the presentation (2 points)
Profile of the company including:
a brief history of the company (1 slide, 3 pts)
the vision/mission/values (1 slide, 3 pts)
the products/services provided by the company (1 slide, 3 pts)
Innovation/Creativity at (Name of the Company)
How have they facilitated an innovative/creative culture and climate? (1-3 slides, 4 points)
Provide examples of innovations that are attributable to this enterprise? (1-2 slides, 4 points)
Identify some of the challenges and/or successes have they experienced while innovating? (1-2 slides, 4 points)
Conclusion (2 points)
Presentation style (good tone of voice, creative slides, proper spelling, etc.) (3 points)
References (proper use of citations within the presentation as well as in the bibliography – quality and quantity of references) (2 points)
Your presentation should be approximately 10 minutes in length.
