How does a positive appraisal of incivility affect rumination?

Objective:
This thesis project is in its early stages. The primary objective of this study is to investigate the
indirect effect of incivility on creativity through rumination at the individual level. Firstly, this
study will analyze how positive and negative appraisal of workplace incivility can affect
rumination. Secondly, this research will explore how negative rumination reduces employee
creativity. Lastly, this study will evaluate whether a positive appraisal of incivility challenges
employees, which can be a learning experience, thereby helping to improve creative ideas.

Q1: How does a positive appraisal of incivility affect rumination?

Hypotheses:
