A successful report should include the following:
- A logical structure, good use of written English, clearly-presented results, complete and correct referencing, and appropriate use of appendices.
- A clearly-written abstract, detailing sufficient information for readers to understand the aims, methods and results of the study.
- A clear introduction, with a critical review of the relevant literature, leading to a clear rationale for the study and aims, and clear and succinctly expressed research question.
- A comprehensive and clear description of your methods, materials and measures, participants, and recruitment process. Your description should be sufficient to allow someone to replicate your study.
- A strong and appropriate presentation of your findings.
- Discussion of findings in relation to research aims and research question, and contribution in relation to previous literature. Evaluate the strengths and limitations of the study, and recommendations for further study.
- A title page, references and appendices.
