Assignment Instructions This activity utilizes the research and practitioner expertise of Atlassian, an Australian-based software development company known globally for extraordinary employee engagement while leading team satisfaction and performance. Students may be familiar with some of the collaboration tools Atlassian produces, such as Trello. For this activity, students review the web resource available through Atlassian’s Team Playbook. The Team Playbook is the company’s resource hub built for work teams. The Playbook includes suggested activities leaders can facilitate with their teams. These “Plays” are “centered around practices that are proven to help foster team connection and improve performance” (Atlassian, 2020, para. 7). The practices explained in the Playbook can lead to improved performance, better team outcomes, and greater team satisfaction.Atlassian Team PlaybookThe resource includes 36 different “Plays” across four different categories. The links include step-by-step instructions on how to facilitate the process for each of the 36 “Plays.” To complete this activity students will select one of the “Plays” to examine.Choose a “Play” to examine carefully by making sure it is relatable to you, you find value in what it intends to do, and you understand the various steps involved in the process.Submit a proposal for how you will use the “Play” you select.
