Reading response journal on actually 21-40

Personal note: Read page 21-40 in Actually, since you wrote about Amber in the discussion for this part write about Tom please.
Character Analysis Part Deux
For this Reading Response Journal, we will continue developing ideas for Es.say Two. In your Discussion Post on Actually I asked for you to develop a character analysis of either Amber or Tom. For this reading response journal, I would like you to do the same for the opposite character. So, if you wrote about Amber in your discussion post, you’ll write about Tom in your this reading response journal. If you wrote about Tom in your discussion post, you’ll write about Amber in this journal.
Compose a reading response journal in which describe Amber or Tom’s character traits in as much detail as you can. To support your descriptions, make sure to present evidence (meaning quotes) from the text to support your analysis. Consider identifying two or three character traits for which you can find multiple pieces of evidence. In a final paragraph, tell us what you have learned about Amber or Tom in process of writing your analysis.
Important:
You must use evidence from beyond p. 21 in Actually. I want to see that you’re processing the second part of the play, rather than the first part—which you processed for the discussion post.
Expectations:

Journals should be thesis driven with supporting examples and evidence
Journals should be written in MLA format using Times New Roman 12pt font
Journals should be 250-350 words
Since you are providing quotes and close visual analysis, a separate works cited page is expected.

week 2 assignment 1 Informed Consent

Informed ConsentScenario: Imagine that you are the lead researcher at a pharmaceuticals laboratory. You have just discovered a new pill that has the potential to cure Type 1 diabetes in human beings. A five-year randomized controlled study using chimpanzees found that diabetes was cured in the animals who took a daily dose of 500mg of your new drug, DIA123. Specifically, the research found that:After two years of taking 500mg of DIA123, diabetes was no longer an issue among 78% of the chimps, and they no longer needed insulin injections. The dosage was decreased to 250mg for year three, and the diabetes never returned.DIA123 was eliminated in years four and five, and the diabetes never returned. No additional exercise or dietary restrictions aided in the study. Therefore, the analysis strongly supported the hypothesis that DIA123 was the primary cause of the elimination of diabetes. While the diabetes issue was eliminated, the research discovered a few side effects:2% of the chimps suffered from moderate to severe diarrhea, which started within a month of taking the pills. This led to the possibility of dehydration, so careful monitoring of liquids was necessary.15% of the chimps suffered from excessive heart palpitations during the three years taking DIA123. Due to the length of the study, the long-term impacts of these heart palpitations are unknown.18% of the chimps suffered from a loss of libido, which did not dissipate after discontinuing DIA123 in years four and five.Must be one to two pages in length, formatted appropriately as an informed consent form.Must include a separate title page with the following:Date submitted

MRKT 3001 Walden University Organizational Change and Marketing Five Cs Discussion

If everyone at a company, from its leaders to its employees, lacked the skill sets and knowledge necessary to work with modern technology, you would not expect that company to become the next disrupter of the technological world. If suppliers could only deliver raw materials for a product at $10, you would not expect a company to offer the final product to customers at $5 each, unless the goal of that company is to go out of business. Companies do not want to enter a market for something that is in the last stages of being a fad, nor would they want to expand their offerings into an area that will soon be heavily regulated or where superior products or services already exist, which would make it difficult to turn a profit. By having an understanding of the marketing five Cs and using its principles to make strategic decisions, managers can have a better understanding of what their capabilities are (company), who they need to work with (collaborators), whom they are trying to sell to (customers), which existing products or services they need to outperform (competitors), and how larger aspects of the global economy can impact their businesses (climate). In this Discussion, you will locate an example of a real company that has gone through a change and apply your understanding of the five Cs to determine their effect on the decisions that were made.To prepare for this Discussion:By Day 3Post a 150- to 225-word (2- to 3-paragraph) analysis of the environment for the organization featured in the news article using the five Cs of situational analysis. In your analysis, address the following:

Law Enforcement Response to an Active Shooter

IntroductionAs the captain of your local police municipality, you know selling the concept of COP to the average police officer will be a difficult task. This week in the command staff forum, you wish to present COP and how it can thwart an active shooter attack. You will pose the idea to the command staff for their insight and thoughts on the topic. You want to present the unique challenges the homegrown radical or lone gunman poses for law enforcement, and how community relations will help law enforcement stop such persons before the shooting starts. How Control Weaknesses Can Lead to Fraud

How Control Weaknesses Can Lead to FraudIn  your Discussion, you will be faced with a potentially fraudulent  situation. This is something that you might face in your auditing career  as well. How would you handle these types of difficult situations? You  are auditing the internal controls of the Kemmons Corporation and you  have found several material weaknesses in their system. You discuss the  internal control weaknesses with the president. He states that he will  make the necessary changes personally and tells you that there is no  need to tell the board about the weaknesses. He does not want to bother  the busy board members with these details, and he states the board is  only involved with major items such as policy changes. As a new auditor, how would you respond to the president? If you were the audit partner on this engagement, would your response change? Why or why not?
