You are to pick a behavior that you want to start, stop, increase or decrease. You must decide how you will operationalize that behavior. In other words, how can you measure it? I have started a forum discussion where your classmates and I can help you decided on how to measure your target behavior.
You also need to decide on an intervention. In other words, something you will do differently, besides the behavior itself, in an effort to change the actual behavior.
For the first 3 days of the study, you will only record the behavior without making any attempts to change it.
Beginning on day four, you will implement the intervention you have selected andthen continue to make a daily recording of the behavior for 11 more days so that you will have 14 days of data.
 graph your data in Excel.
In addition to a table showing the data and a graph of the data, you will need to write a double-spaced paragraph or two about: (1) what behavior you were trying to change; (2) how you measured it; (3) what method you used to keep a record of your data; (4 & 5) what intervention you developed & why; (6) what the outcome was; (7) your interpretation of the data; (8, 9 & 10) and at least three things you learned from this assignment.

College of Eastern Utah Rise of The Market Economy Made the American Daily Life so Much Easier Discussion

Question 1: How did industrialization and the emergence of a market economy impact the daily lives of Americans? Who was most directly affected and to what effect?COLLAPSEThe creation and rise of the market economy made the American daily life so much easier and more convenient. There was a wave of creating better roads for stagecoaches and roads were even being paved at this point. The railroads began running and the waterway systems and canals were also being used. With the bettering of transportation this meant that crops and textiles could be transported farther, which in turn, meant more money. Because meat and crops could be carried farther, faster now other places not near a port could have access to them. With the Industrial Revolution, easier ways of harvesting crops and making bulk textiles was created. The invention of the cotton gin was fifty times more effective than hand laboring (Shi 281). The McCormick reaper made it easier to harvest wheat (Shi 283). The common, average people were most effected by this revolution. It made their lives easier and less stressful.

University of Dundee Translational motion for 2 marker coordinates – calculate angle, angular velocity & acceleration in biomechanics

A sportsman is riding a bicycle. The bicycle motion is translational on the ground and the sportsman’s trunk moves slightly forwards and backwards as he cycles. Two markers are used, one on the seat and the other on the shoulder of the cyclist. In order to investigate the kinematic parameters at the shoulder (as shown in the figure on the attachment) assume that the trunk rotates about the seat. The marker coordinates for a series of frames have been obtained using a motion capture system and are shown in the table overleaf.(i) Through what angle has the shoulder rotated about the seat from frame 1 to frame 4?(ii) What is the angular velocity that the shoulder rotated about the seat at frame 2?(iii) What is the angular acceleration that the shoulder rotated about the seat at frame 3?With all conditions used in question 21, continue to answer the following questions.(i) What is the velocity of the bicycle at frame 3?(ii) What is the acceleration of the bicycle at frame 3?(iii) What is the magnitude of the velocity of the shoulder relative to the seat at frame 3?(iv) What is the approximate acceleration of the shoulder relative to the ground at frame 3?
