What are the potential impacts of the condition on function (occupational performance)?

Objective: The purpose of this activity is to utilized Bloom’s Taxonomy level IV & V to assist students refining their clinical reasoning skills by linking scientific knowledge to assessment and intervention planning. This project assists the students to assimilate textbook content and apply scientific information and reason through complex client centered situations. Instructions: Each student is expected to complete on their own! Step #1 – Scientific knowledge forms the backdrop for clinical reasoning! Find out ALL you can about the condition. Students may use textbooks, scholarly websites, and articles etc. to discover scientific information about the diagnosis. Step #2 – Knowing what you know about the condition now – find out what occupational therapy assessments and interventions would be appropriate for a person with this condition. Additionally, identify the intervention approaches that can be utilized for the condition (health promotion, compensation, adaptation, prevention, restoration, and maintenance from the OTPF. Students should begin to integrate the information, and defend their choices of each assessment/intervention to foster critical thinking about how contexts, personal factors, and activity might affect their choices of assessments and interventions. Step #3- Students will identify relevant frames of references to use with the diagnosis and justify their choices. Step #4 – Student will identify occupational problem areas the diagnosis may impact along with associated limitations/barriers. Each occupational problem area should link to a limitation/barrier. Step #5 – Students will utilize the provided case study that includes various contexts, personal factors, and activities select relevant and appropriate occupational therapy assessments for the case study. Additionally, students will design a relevant and meaningful interventions for the case study. The student should develop their interventions considering the client’s contextual issues, interests, activities, personal factors, and practice setting. This step in the diagnosis book assists the student to make substantial and personalized intervention planning.

Step #1: What did you find out about this condition? List all that you researched (signs & symptoms, definition, causes, types, precautions, mediations etc.) A simple, concise definition is provided and accurate (1 pts) Causes of the condition are listed and are accurate (1 pts) A thorough list of signs/symptoms has been outlined (1 pts) Various types of the condition have been explored and explained (1 pts) Associated problems (secondary) with the diagnosis (1 pts) Precautions are identified (1 pts) Medications listed that may be involved with the condition (1 pts) Sources are identified, are scholarly sources properly cited per APA (1 pts) 8 points Step #2: What occupational therapy assessments and interventions are appropriate for this condition and why? What are the approaches to intervention? Evaluations/assessment listed (at least 3) Each evaluation/assessment is briefly described and justified for its use with the condition (at least 3) Intervention strategies for the condition are listed (at least 3) Intervention strategies are appropriate for the condition and justified At least one intervention strategy is documented as being evidenced based and source of information is provided Approaches to interventions are outline per intervention listed and are appropriate 6 pts Step #3: What occupational therapy frames of reference/s would be the MOST appropriate with this condition and why? No more than 2 frames of references! Occupational frame/s of reference is identified (2pts) Frame of reference is briefly described (2 pts) Frame of reference is justified as to its application to the condition researched (2 pts) Interventions in Step #4 are in line with at least one of the frames of reference (2 pts) 8 points

Step #4: What are the potential impacts of the condition on function (occupational performance)? Limitations/barriers are identified through client factors, performance skills, performance patterns, and context/environment 1. 2. 3. 5. Problem Areas are identified through occupational performance area/s 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. For example: Arthritis Limitations/barriers: weak intrinsic hand muscles, decreased ROM, Decreased endurance Occupational Performance impact: weak intrinsic hand muscles and decreased ROM leads to decreased ability to hold utensils for eating and cooking tasks, decreased ability for dressing with fasteners OR difficulty with clothing management. Decreased endurance leads to inability to work a full 8 hour shift Total: 10 Step #5: Based on the provided case study identify assessment/s that are appropriate and design an intervention plan that is tailored to meet the needs of the client (consider personal factors, activities, and contextual variables when designing the intervention plan). Defend your choice of assessment/s and interventions for the client by explaining why these assessment/s and interventions were selected. Appropriate assessments identified; justification for the selection of the assessment/s is present. (at least 3) Intervention plan is comprehensive in that it addresses at least 3 problem areas for the case study Intervention plan addresses the following variables: 1. Personal factors of the client 2. Activities 3. Contextual concerns A rationale is provided for why each intervention was selected Total: 6 38 total points

You are a business analyst for an organization that distributes pizza ingredients to various restaurants. These ingredients include dough, sauces, and toppings. Your organization wants to expand its customer base but does not know what kind of restaurant or which U.S. region to target. You have been given a Clean Customer Sales Data Set that is a representative sample of the sales at your customers’ restaurants for 2015 and 2016. This also contains household income data for the restaurant zip codes. Your organization’s leadership is concerned about rising delivery costs and is considering whether they should specifically target pizzerias as customers. They are also considering whether they should only offer morning deliveries. Currently, the organization’s roster of customers includes a wide range of restaurants, many of which are open for business before noon. You have been asked to analyze your customer data set and provide insight and recommendations. First, you must determine differences in the orders placed at different times of the day and compare orders placed in pizzerias with those in other restaurants. You will then need to analyze these differences to determine whether these differences are due to chance or are statistically significant and determine how these may impact your recommendations. For this activity, you will use MS Excel to perform t-tests on the given data set to determine whether the differences that you see between two groups are significant or due to chance. Prompt Create a report that presents the results of the t-tests on the data included in your data set to inform leadership’s decision making. Include the relevant screenshots in the report. Specifically, you must address the following rubric criteria: Perform T-Tests: Perform t-tests on identified binary (dichotomous) variables to determine differences between data groups. Overview
Prompt
Create a report that presents the results of the t-tests on the data included in your data set to inform leadership’s decision making. Include the relevant screenshots in the report.
Specifically, you must address the following rubric criteria:

Perform T-Tests: Perform t-tests on identified binary (dichotomous) variables to determine differences between data groups.

Perform a t-test to investigate customers’ orders based on time of day. Group the orders according to those placed in the morning and those placed after noon.

Differentiate between the two groups of orders in terms of:

The average number of orders (or volume)
The average total amount

Perform a t-test by creating a new variable to group the restaurants based on whether or not they are categorized as “Pizza Place.”

Determine if there is a difference in the volume and the average order amount between restaurants categorized as Pizza Place and those that are not.

Interpret Statistical Results: Determine the statistical significance of your t-test results using the p values generated.

Determine whether there’s a statistically significant difference at the p < .05 level.

Differentiate between the volume of orders placed in the morning and in the afternoon.

Interpret the impact of limiting deliveries to only mornings and the impact on restaurants with significant pre-noon sales.
Recommend the time for deliveries if the level of significance was relaxed to p < .10.
Interpret the differences between pizzerias and other restaurants and how they influence your recommendation to leadership.

Summarize T-Test Results : Summarize the t-test results for a non-technical audience.

Explain why you performed a t-test instead of any other statistical test to answer leadership’s questions.
Explain your findings in terms of the p < .05 level and how confident you can be in any conclusions drawn from your analysis.

What to Submit
Submit an MS Excel sheet with the t-test results.
Submit a 2-page Word document using double spacing, 12-point Times New Roman font, and one-inch margins. Sources should be cited according to APA style. Consult the Shapiro Library APA Style Guide for more information on citations.

Citing our textbook material, explain how the sociological approach toward social problems differs from other approaches. Why are certain problems considered significant and others are not?

SOCI 212 – Social Problems
American Public University System
Assignment 1: the sociological viewpoint toward social problems (Due Week 2)
Overview
One of the most crucial components to this course concerns addressing social problems in society from a sociological viewpoint as opposed to a strictly policy-oriented, psychological, or criminal justice viewpoint. Although many different viewpoints in social science are valid and have a lot of importance, it is equally important for us to understand how sociology looks at the nature of social problems in society today. This paper will enable us to explore why certain social problems seem to be regarded as more significant than others. Our job will be in defining the sociological viewpoint, and choosing one social problem that we think is of high importance. We will build upon the topic we choose in this paper for our second and third writing assignments.
Instructions
Construct a 2-4 page paper that fully explores each of the following areas:
1)    Citing our textbook material, explain how the sociological approach toward social problems differs from other approaches. Why are certain problems considered significant and others are not?
2)    Next, choose one social problem that exists in society that you think is particularly serious, and explain it in sociological terms. This social problem should be measurable in some statistical way. (Is it increasing, and if so, how? Among which groups of people, and for how long, etc.?)
3)    What might be one important way in which the social problem is currently being addressed in society?
4)    Please define and identify at least four concepts from our text relevant to your chosen social problem.
5)    Analyze the way in which these concepts help us better understand the nature of the social problem you are discussing.
Don’t forget to include proper APA-style citation and reference. (Assignment One is worth 10% of the total grade.)
Due by 11:55 pm ET, Sunday of Week 2 – submit using link in Sakai.
The paper should be typed, double-spaced, 1” margins, arial or times new roman 11 pt font, and saved as .doc, .rtf or .pdf in the format: lastname_SOCI212_HW1.doc
DISCLAIMER: Originality of attachments will be verified by Turnitin. Both you and your instructor will receive the results.
LATE POLICY:
See Syllalbus.

As a school counselor, I would consider using a non-experimental research design, such as a survey research design, to gain insight into the general education teachers’ level of understanding about evidence-based practices in teaching students with Autism. This design allows for collecting valuable information from a designated population (the general education teachers) without making any changes or interventions in the educational setting. In order to create a meaningful and informative survey, I would formulate questions that aim to gauge the general education teachers’ knowledge, attitudes, and practices related to teaching students with Autism. Some sample questions might include: How confident do you feel about evidence-based practices for teaching students with Autism? Have you received any professional development or training in teaching students with Autism? Can you name a few evidence-based strategies you currently use in your classroom for students with Autism?

RISE Feedback:
REFLECT: I concur with “Action plans should reflect the type of services that are needed and have an idea of the expected outcome of the services” because it is in line with Hatch and Hartline’s intentional school counseling guidelines in regards to determining students needs.
INQUIRE: Can you further explain what “closing-the-gap action plans” are?
SUGGEST: I encourage you to revisit Hatch and Hartline’s MTMDSS tier interventions in order to add a citation that would illustrate your example on bullying prevention efforts.
ELEVATE: What if you re-purposed “For example, after a needs assessment, the school is having problems with bullying” as “Following Trish Hatch’s MTMDSS tier based interventions, if the school is having problems with bullying, after a needs assessment, we could… citation…”  for a more weighted argument?

Select a non-experimenal design.
What type of questions would you ask for your selected non-experimenal design?
Regarding this weeks article, what are the general ed teachers level of understanding about evidenced based practice in teaching students with Autism?
In the text, Educational Research: Fundamental Principles and Methods, we learn that there are many types of non-experimental designs including descriptive, comparative, correlational, predictive, causal comparative, and ex-post facto (McMillan, 2022). The non-experimental design I selected is descriptive research design. With descriptive research design, the researchers are looking for answers to the “what” and “how much” of the research question being explored. Types of questions I would ask for a descriptive research design are: 1)  How much time, on average, does it take for a 6th grade student to complete their daily homework? What percentage of students are using school based counseling services?  What strategies work best for avoiding school counselor burnout?
According to this week’s article, the general education teachers’ level of understanding about evidenced based practices in teaching students with autism were very low (Barry et al, 2021).  More students with autism are being included in general education classes but teachers are not readily trained nor prepared to teach these students especially in such a highly populated classroom environment.  At least 28 evidence based practices in teaching students with autism have been identified as having positive learning outcomes but unfortunately there is a gap between the research and the actual practice in the classroom.  Teachers need more training and time to practice and actually implement these strategies in the classroom.

Do you believe that evidence-based practices are essential for the success of students with Autism in a general education setting?
Are there any challenges you face when implementing evidence-based practices for students with Autism in your classroom?
These questions would provide a comprehensive understanding of the general education teachers’ awareness and application of evidence-based practices in teaching students with Autism. The survey could be administered to a representative sample of teachers to gather a broader perspective.
I would consider the findings from the survey as a valuable resource to determine the general education teachers’ level of understanding about evidence-based practice in teaching students with Autism. By analyzing their responses, I could identify areas where additional training or support may be needed and develop strategies to enhance their knowledge and implementation of evidence-based practices, ultimately benefiting the students with Autism in the school. The article’s insights into non-experimental research designs, including survey research, would be instrumental in guiding this assessment and intervention process.

Imagine that you are a student in college, and that you have a busy schedule. You struggle to find enough time to study, and hope to use study methods that are not only effective, but also efficient. What should you do? Should you study the same material over and over? Should you study for a while, and then take a break and come back to the material later? Do these different strategies make any difference at all? What exactly would you do to meet the challenge of studying efficiently and effectively?

(a) to address an applied challenge, that is, some challenge faced in the “real world,” outside of university departments of psychology, by
(b) making use of information in a scientific paper that presents some psychological science that can be used to address the challenge.
Below, you will find a list of paper topics. You should choose one as your topic. Each topic contains two parts: (a) an applied challenge, and (b) a scientific paper relevant to that challenge. Once you choose a topic, your assignment is to:
(1) describe the theory and research presented in the scientific paper listed for your topic
(2) explain how that theory and research addresses the applied challenge, in other words, to explain how the psychological science (the theory and research in the paper) might help to solve the problem faced by the person with the applied challenge.
The paper you write should be 3.5 – 4 pages in length, double-spaced. That is font size 12, 1-inch-margins, and 3.5 – 4 pages of actual text that you yourself write. (This would total roughly 1100 words of writing.) In these 3.5-4 pages, you should be accomplishing the two asks above: (1) describe the theory and research presented in the scientific paper you read (answer questions such as: What is the main idea of the paper? What are the main research findings supporting this idea? What methods did the researcher use to support their findings?), and (2) explain how that theory and research can be applied to the applied problem (explain what the person facing the applied challenge might do differently if they knew about the theory and research in the paper). You should probably spend about an equal amount of space on each of the two tasks; your paper thus would have about 2 pages describing the theory and research that is presented in the relevant scientific paper, and about 2 pages explaining how the scientific information might be used to solve the applied problem.
Notes on plagiarism: Anytime you are discussing someone else’s words you need to give the author credit by citing them. Otherwise, this is plagiarism. By citing the author, you are adding credibility to your argument and avoiding plagiarism. An example of an in-text citation looks like this: where you first list the ideas of an author followed with an in-line citation: Psychology is the scientific study of person, the mind, and the brain (Cervone, 2014).
Below are four topics (please choose only one) from which to choose in writing APSP#2, and the scientific paper that you should read and discuss for each topic.
Motivation and Self-Control
Imagine that you are an academic counselor here at UIC. A student comes into your office and says “I’m plenty smart, Mr/Ms. Counselor, but I’ve got no self-control, and there’s nothing I can do about it. During the semester, I never know exactly what to do to study, and I can’t keep track of how I’m doing, and I forget to do stuff – sometimes I totally forget to study for exams. There isn’t anything to do to change this, is there.” Is there anything to do? Might you have any tips on how the study can improve his or her self-control?

Education and Student Interest
Imagine that you’re a teacher. You want to make class interesting for the students. To this end, you try to make your reading assignments easy, try to keep projects as simple as possible, and try to make the class fun for students by showing a lot of wacky TV shows and cartoons during class. Yet the students seem bored. What might you be able to do differently to enhance student interest?

Gender Differences and Memory
Suppose that two friends of yours – let’s call them Joan and John – are in a romantic relationship, and have been in the relationship a long time. One day, while you’re visiting them, they get into a big argument about memory. Joan says women have better memory than men. John says men have better memory than women. Joan says she can prove it, and does so by recalling what the couple said to one another when they first met (which John can’t remember). John says he can prove it, and does so by recalling the exact route from their old first apartment to their old favorite restaurant (which Joan can’t remember). The argument – “Women have better memory.” “No, men have better memory” – goes on and on. What can you say to resolve the argument?

Discuss either the formula of universal law or the formula of humanity.

Prior to beginning work on this discussion forum, view the Week 3 content in the PHI208: Ethics & Moral ReasoningLinks to an external site. interactive multimedia, and watch the DeontologyLinks to an external site. video in the Week 3 Guidance. Read Chapter 4 of How Should One Live? An Introduction to Ethics and Moral Reasoning, the Kant Required Reading Marked in Red Download Kant Required Reading Marked in Reddocument for Immanuel Kant’s (2017) Groundwork for the Metaphysics of Morals, and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s” Letter From a Birmingham Jail.”
This discussion has two parts, both of which require careful examination of Section 4.2 in Chapter 4 of the text, so consider reading it more than once like you were asked to do in the Week 1 Reading Philosophy discussion.
In Part 1 of this discussion, you will create your own test case following the format presented in Section 4.2 of the textbook. In Part 2, you will create a test case based on a single sentence you select from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “Letter from a Birmingham Jail.”
PART 1 – Test Case

Discuss either the formula of universal law or the formula of humanity.
Create your own test case following the format presented in Section 4.2 of the text. The text case can be anything you want to consider, but it must be an action such as lying, cheating, or killing one person to save the lives of five others. It can even be an absurd or far-fetched example such as a test case with a maxim that states you will eat a piece of cake any time you sneeze, or that you will sing a brief song every time you blink (These work well when imagining what the world would be like if everyone in it obeyed the universal law).

Follow the numbered steps below to present your test case.

Maxim: State the maxim of your action using first-person singular.

For example: Every time I blink, I will sing a brief song.

Universal Law: Formulate a universal law based on the maxim.

For example: Every time anyone blinks, they will sing a brief song.

The World: Describe what the world would look like if everyone in it must obey the universal law. This step should have a good amount of depth and detail and fully explain the types of behaviors and actions that would occur in this world.

For example: If everyone in the world sang every time they blinked, there would be almost constant singing when people were awake.

Is There a Contradiction? Consider whether there is a contradiction in the world you have imagined. This step is often tricky, so just keep in mind that you are looking for a logical or moral contradiction or paradox—something that would make the world immoral or dysfunctional or absurd.

For example: A world in which everyone sang whenever they blinked would be both dysfunctional and absurd.

State Whether the Maxim Is Moral: If there is no contradiction, then the maxim is moral. If there is a contradiction, then the maxim is immoral.

For example: The maxim is not moral.

PART 2 – Test Case: “Letter From a Birmingham Jail”
Using the same format as above,

Identify a sentence in Dr. King’s “Letter from a Birmingham Jail” that you think is consistent with the principles of deontology. Look for sentences that focus on a single idea and above all, sentences that contain an action or can be transformed into an action.
For example, “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere” is a sentence that falls within the general territory of deontology but does not contain a clear action. To rephrase this maxim with an action, you might state, “Anytime I see injustice, I will fight against it because it is a threat to justice everywhere.”
Place your sentence just below the Part 2 heading, then fill in the five reasoning steps as presented above: (1) Maxim, (2) Universal Law, (3) The World, (4) Contradiction, (5) Conclusion.
Complete your primary post by explaining whether a utilitarian would agree with the conclusion in one of your test cases.

Discuss machine learning and how this could be applied to remote patient monitoring for patients in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. What challenges might biomedical researchers encounter when using these emerging technologies and analyzing the data gathered from them.

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a
technology that is undergoing rapid evolution. The concept of the Internet of Things (IoT) revolves around the interconnection of various computing devices, mechanical and digital machinery, items, animals, and individuals through the utilization of sensors and actuators. This interconnected network facilitates the collection of data, ultimately leading to advancements in areas such as wellness, productivity, and efficiency (Alazzam et al., 2021).
The utilization of Internet of Things (IoT) enabled remote patient health monitoring is a highly promising technological intervention that is currently emerging to address the global health equity gap. The application of the Internet of Things (IoT) has the potential to enhance healthcare and safety measures. The integration of our bodies with the Internet enables access to a wide range of data pertaining to our lifestyle, physical and mental capabilities, and living conditions. Healthcare providers can remotely and continuously check the health of human subjects. The collected data may additionally provide support for evidence-based interventions in the areas of disease, injury, safety prevention, early detection, and treatment (Alazzam et al., 2021).
Machine learning algorithms are utilized to explore vast quantities of health-related data, conduct analysis, and make predictions regarding outcomes for particular patients. These algorithms employ a distinct client identification and aid in facilitating clinical decision-making processes. The primary focus in the transfer and tracking of medical data transactions lies in the significance of security and privacy challenges (Alhameed et al., 2022).
The efficacy of machine learning is seen in its ability to identify diseases and facilitate categorization. The process of categorizing health data facilitates expeditious decision-making for surgeons inside the clinical setting. A machine-learning algorithm has been created to identify dangerous tumors in mammograms. Machine learning has significant applications in the healthcare sector, enabling the analysis of numerous data points to derive conclusions, provide timely risk assessments, allocate resources, and facilitate various other functions (Ashu & Sharma, 2021).
Undoubtedly, telemedicine represents a transformative paradigm shift within the realm of healthcare. However, due to the rapid progress of technology, there has been a substantial increase in the generation of data. The proper deployment of telemedicine is contingent upon the consideration of security as a determining factor. The security issue in question encompasses (AAA) which stands for authorization, authentication, and accounting. The preservation of privacy and the safeguarding of information security are crucial concerns in contemporary society (Ashu & Sharma, 2021).
Telemedicine systems greatly rely on the presence of these components, as they are deemed essential. Additionally, it is imperative that the information is deemed reliable. In telemedicine systems, the acquisition of comprehensive and precise information is crucial. When considering the passage of time, it is crucial to take it into consideration, the ethical issues resulting from the rapid proliferation of internet usage were examined by the researcher. An issue arises at the phase of safeguarding personal privacy. Personal information refers to details about an individual that can be used to identify or distinguish them from others (Ashu & Sharma, 2021).
The data must be securely maintained in a database inaccessible to unauthorized individuals. Cloud computing platforms have demonstrated compatibility with Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) protocols, resulting in cost reduction benefits. The Self-Consistency Theory (SCT) offered the connectivity between patients residing in rural areas and medical professionals with specialized expertise. A wearable device designed to monitor and collect physiological data from the human body.
Healthcare data possesses a high level of sensitivity, with privacy and integrity being fundamental characteristics. Therefore, in the field of healthcare, ensuring the security of big data is of utmost importance. In order to optimize service delivery, it is imperative that medical practitioners to possess expedient and reliable means of accessing a patient’s comprehensive medical records.
There exist viable security measures that can enhance the capacity of big data in a meaningful manner. The healthcare sector operates inside a highly regulated framework. The utilization of big data analytics within the healthcare sector. The activities encompass the processes of collecting, storing, retrieving, disseminating, and analyzing the accumulated data. The process of arranging the data after extraction (Ashu & Sharma, 2021).

Select 2 personality disorders common to surviving victims of a life-threatening experience other than post-traumatic stress disorder. For each selected personality disorder, address the following questions: What are the symptoms of this disorder? List and describe. What types of people typically succumb to this disorder? Explain.

You are the senior veteran partner of a special highway patrol unit that is working a major interstate that is a corridor for drug and gun smuggling. Your partner has the highest marks ever in the academy and has a great civilian education in criminology. He knows the laws and regulations by heart. He is a staunch family man who is faithful to his wife, and except for an occasional beer with the boy, does not abuse alcohol. He has an exemplary work record and is extremely reliable. As such, he is assigned as your partner in a very hazardous detail of drug and gun intervention.
The job requires the officers to make legitimate profiling assessments of potential smugglers and wait for them to make a motor vehicle violation so that they can be stopped. Once stopped, minimal interview techniques almost always lead to the discovery of contraband and a subsequent arrest.
The first 3 months on the job with your new partner have been great. The two of you have made 18 felony arrests for narcotics and gun possession. Six of the drug arrests were major weights of crack and heroin. Two of the gun arrests involved the seizure of numerous fully automatic weapons.
In the beginning 2 weeks of month 4, things start to get dicey. Three of the last 12 traffic stops have resulted in shootouts with the occupants of the cars stopped. While nobody was killed and only two people wounded (both of them suspects), the shooting appears to be taking its toll on the new officer.
When going to the car last week at the start of shift, an officer in an adjacent car slammed the trunk lid, causing a loud bang. As you turned toward your car, you found your partner on the ground trying to scoot under the vehicle. Four nights earlier, you were called to back up another unit that had a high-risk stop. Upon your arrival, you drew your weapon and ran up to the other unit, two officers who were wrestling with two suspects. After the suspects were handcuffed, you turned to find your partner crouching behind your unit shaking. When you tried to talk to him about it, he said he was starting to get the flu. The next night he called in sick.
The night following the sick night, while on patrol, you stopped a suspect vehicle, and the driver was a huge sawmill worker with 3 outstanding felony warrants for robbery and assault. The suspect attacked you, and you rolled around on the ground for a full 45 seconds trying to get the suspect handcuffed. After getting him under control, you looked up to see your partner frantically screaming on the radio for back up about 30 feet away. He never came to your aid during the incident.
The unit commander suspects that there is a problem and asks you to write a fitness report on your new partner with recommendations for follow-up on the report you submit.
In a report to the unit commander of the special highway patrol unit, indicate the issues in the scenario that cause you concern about the new officer. You will identify how the symptoms displayed by the new officer are consistent with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). You will provide at least 2 recommendations for action concerning the new officer. You will provide the commander with options on what you think can be done to prevent this type of problem in the unit.

Describe five distinct (differentiated from each other) observable skills or knowledge sets that you could help learners to acquire and demonstrate through your teaching module.

Using the template uploaded, please provide the required detailed information on the topic selected and summarize the five-week learning module in which you will share your expertise.
1] You will identify the competencies you want learners to acquire
and create a cohesive plan for instruction and assessment,
based on the adult learning models.
2] Save the template to your own files and use it for your
assignment submission, replacing the italicized text with your
unique information about your teaching module.
3] Provide enough information or context with sufficient detail
that any social work leader would be able to present essentially
the same module based on the information and instruction you
provided.
4] The eight main bullet points that follow correspond to the
grading criteria for this assignment:
5] Define competencies that learners should acquire related to a
chosen topic.
6] Describe five distinct (differentiated from each other)
observable skills or knowledge sets that you could help
learners to acquire and demonstrate through your teaching
module.
7] Create a cohesive plan for instruction and assessment.
A “cohesive plan” will display alignment between and among
the competencies and each element of the teaching module
(objectives, readings, five-week lesson plan, talking points,
technology, and assessments).
8] It should be easy to see how the planned instruction (readings,
lesson plan, talking points, and technology) will enable learners
to achieve the competencies.
9] It should be easy to see how each objective is a demonstration
of the specific competency.
10] It should be easy to see how the planned assessments will
allow the instructor to evaluate whether learners have achieved
the competencies.
11] Explain strategies for the integration of technologies into
course delivery.
12] Apply the best technology resources -select 3–5 programs or
applications that will help learners develop the competencies
you identified for the module.
13] Provide specific justification for each technology, taking adult
education models, learning styles, and abilities, as well as the
desired competencies, into consideration.
14] Explain how you applied adult learning theories and models in
your plans for the learning module.
15] Justify course activities (including competencies, objectives, instructional materials, lesson plans, technology, assessment, and so on) based on adult learning theories and models.
You are not expected to generate a theory-based justification for each activity; rather, you can choose from among your planned activities to show how your plans for the teaching module are grounded in what you have learned about adult learning theories and models in this course.
16] Integrate key aspects of diversity and social inclusion in
teaching strategies.
17] Provide concepts for diversity, equity, and inclusion
statement.
18] Explain the role that diversity, equity, and inclusion played in
the planning of your teaching module.
19] Explain how your teaching module could contribute to a
culture of inclusion, equity, and diversity.
Integrate key aspects of the NASW Code of Ethics and the
NASW Standards for Technology in Teaching Strategies.
20] Explain the role that the concepts covered in the NASW Code
of Ethics and the NASW Standards for Technology played in
the planning of your teaching module.
Please ensure the following
A] Defines competencies that learners should acquire related to a
chosen topic; the competencies provide a sufficient descriiption.
of knowledge, skills, abilities, or attributes related to the topic.
B] Creates a cohesive plan for instruction and assessment.
insightful details provide relevant, credible support for the plan.
C] Explains strategies for the integration of technologies into
course delivery, supported by insightful justification for each
technology that takes adult education models, learning styles
and abilities, and the desired competencies into consideration.
D] Explains how adult learning theories and models are applied in
the plans for the learning module and identify areas of
uncertainty, knowledge gaps, and/or additional?information that
could be gathered for future improvement of the plan.
E] Integrates key aspects of diversity and social inclusion in
teaching strategies and clearly explains how the teaching
module could contribute to a culture of inclusion, equity, and
diversity.
F] Integrates key aspects of the NASW Code of Ethics and the
NASW Standards for Technology in Teaching Strategies,
providing a clear and insightful explanation
