I need an ethics paper of 950 word written the information is posted

Paper on Character, Dignity, and Self-Respect
For your Unit 5 assignment, you will write a paper based on the themes of Character, Dignity, and Self-Respect. You will choose to view the movie A Man for all Seasons, the movie Glory, or another movie that has been approved by your instructor, and will interpret the movie and relate one or two of the movies characters to the philosophies of Aristotle, Epictetus, and Saint Augustine.
You will relate your character selections to the following:

Aristotle: Ethics based on personal virtue.
Epictetus: Ethics based on inner strength of the individual.
Saint Augustine: Ethics based on following a Divine Command.

Aristotle
Aristotle was a student of Plato and lived from 384 to 322 B.C. His ethical theory centered on the attainment of the Good Life and on his theory of happiness. This is not the type of happiness one normally thinks about as in the statement, I am happy. Rather, you should understand happiness as a sense of well-being or the overall quality of ones life. Yet, this happy life does not just happen. It is the result of specific actions and qualities.
To accomplish the Good Life one should look at the nature of action. Aristotle wrote in his book the Nicomachean Ethics that all actions have both an excess and a deficiency. Accordingly, all actions have a mean between those two extremes that is suited to a specific individual. This is a mean that is suited to us as an individual, as a member of society, and leads toward the Good Life. And, it does not have to be the same for everyone. So, how do I find the mean suited to me?
To begin, Aristotle directs us to the nature of habits and the formative influence they have in our lives. He felt that habits have an essential role. They are the creators of ones character, and ultimately ones destiny. In other words, habits produce character and character produces a destiny. And destiny is our life. And what is more interesting, he believed that if we do not like the person we have become, we have the ability to change our habits, and therefore, our character and ultimately our destiny.
In your paper, address how the characters you have selected from the movie represent Aristotelian ethics. How have they demonstrated a mean between excess and deficiency? How have they demonstrated a change in habit or character? How have they made a conscious decision to change?
Epictetus
Epictetus was a Stoic philosopher and lived from 55 A.D. to 135 A.D. This was the time of the Roman Empire and the result had been a loss of personal and ethical control over ones life as considered against the needs of the Empire. This sense of personal and intimate control over ones decisions and actions had been a part of the small Greek City-States from the time of Aristotle and had formed the basis of ethical theory. Now, the Roman Empire had created events and actions that were no longer in the control of the individual person. One simply lived at the mercy of events no longer directly connected to the individual and over which one had no control.
Thus, the Stoic philosophy concentrated on the following:

What control did a single individual have over the events in life?
Would ones personal choice even make a difference?
How can one maintain a sense of self-control and direction when I have no control over the events that happen to me?

Epictetus decided that he should control the only thing within his absolute power: His response. He believed that, while he could not control what occurred outside of himself, he could control how he responded: That was the only true freedom he had, and the source of his personal worth and dignity.
As you study the characters from the movie selection, identify those actions and scenarios that depict the philosophy of Epictetus. Ask yourself the following:

How have your characters decided to respond to their circumstances?
How have they exercised personal self-control?

St. Augustine
St. Augustine lived from 354 to 431 A.S. and authored a book titled Confessions. I think the title says it all. He is considered one of the founders of Christian Theology and his influence is felt in all aspect of our civilization. For St. Augustine, the foundation for the Good Life lies in the act of confession and the knowledge of God. He approached the ideas of dignity, character, and self-respect from a straight forward religious perspective. Meaning: We attain those personal qualities and live the Good Life through our relationship with God.
He believed that our souls are restless and cannot find character, dignity, and self-respect until they find the greatest good, and for him that would be knowledge of God. He believed that our relationship with God cannot be lost once it is attained, and no matter what befalls us we have a lasting relationship to the Greatest Good. As such, he believed that no one can take that God-given concept of self-worth from us.
As you look at the various scenarios and characters in your movie selection think about how a religious attainment of the Greatest Good or the knowledge of God inspired and motivated choices that lead to the Good Life.
As you write your paper, consider the following questions:

How have the characters you selected attained the values and virtues of the philosophers?
What obstacles did they overcome?
What hardships did they endure?
How did they demonstrate a life of character, dignity, and self-respect?

You are expected to use a minimum of 3 citations from your source reading and from the Capella University Library.

Draft employment contract | BUS212 Business Law and Corporate Ethics

HawkNet Sky Security Employment Contract that addresses in its terms and provisions all of the below concerns/issues.
Cite in footnotes the sources you are referring to as the research source/ authority for the contents of your paper.

You have a Tampa Bay area growing sole proprietorship doing business as (DBA) HawkNet Sky Security. On a small scale you are buying Drones and modifying their embedded IT mother board and source code applications to perform custom 24/7 security airborne surveillance platform that would cover gated communities, industrial warehouse parks, school grounds, sports complexes, and shopping centers’ parking lots, just to name a few uses of your modified airborne security product. You have a patent pending on your modified Drone IT application source code and app.
The reputation has gotten out that you have a great new security product, that will be cost effect and will augment or eliminate the expensive roving manned vehicle security guard services being provided by your potential competitors. The orders are coming in for your new product and you can no longer do this alone in your parents’ garage. You have gotten a bank loan to expand your business and you are acquiring a warehouse, significant stock of drones and IT supplies, and now need to start hiring at least 20 to 30 tech employees to refurbish, modify and package your customized Drones. You are concerned with the following issues in hiring new employees in to your business.
• What will be the terms, benefits, salaries or wages, insurance coverages, annual, sick and maternity leave, and retirement plans that will be included in the employment agreement to attract and retain good employees.
• How can I keep employees from telling others about my proprietary information and trade secrets that they will have access to in modifying the drones?
• How can I keep my employees from starting their own drone surveillance business or working for a competitor?
•  How do I reduce my liability exposure for the actions of my employees who might engage in workplace harassment and discrimination practices?
• Since the services I provide are security and protection of persons and property, should I require drug and alcohol testing of the employees?
• What policies will I include in the employment agreement regarding the Company’s position regarding Sex (Gender), Sexual Orientation, Nationality, Race, or Religious Discrimination, Veteran’s Preferences, and policy on accommodations under the Americans with Disability Act.

Statistical process control | Operations Management homework help

Statistical Process Control Defined
Although SPC is normally thought of in industrial applications, it can be applied to virtually any process. Everything done in the workplace is a process. All processes are affected by multiple factors. For example, in the workplace a process can be affected by the environment and the machines employed, the materials used, the methods (work instructions) provided, the measurements taken, and the manpower (people) who operate the process—the Five M’s. If these are the only factors that can affect the process output, and if all of these are perfect—meaning the work environment facilitates quality work; there are no misadjustments in the machines; there are no flaws in the materials; and there are totally accurate and precisely followed work instructions, accurate and repeatable measurements, and people who work with extreme care, following the work instructions perfectly and concentrating fully on their work—and if all of these factors come into congruence, then the process will be in statistical control. This means that there are no special causes adversely affecting the process’s output. Special causes are (for the time being, anyway) eliminated. Does that mean that 100% of the output will be perfect? No, it does not. Natural variation is inherent in any process, and it will affect the output. Natural variation is expected to account for roughly 2,700 out-of-limits parts in every 1 million produced by a three-sigma process (±3? variation), 63 out-of-limits parts in every 1 million produced by a four-sigma process, and so on. Natural variation, if all else remains stable, will account for two out-of-limits parts per billion produced by a true six-sigma process.
SPC does not eliminate all variation in the processes, but it does something that is absolutely essential if the process is to be consistent and if the process is to be improved. SPC allows workers to separate the special causes of variation (e.g., environment and the Five M’s) from the natural variation found in all processes. After the special causes have been identified and eliminated, leaving only natural variation, the process is said to be in statistical control (or simply in control). When that state is achieved, the process is stable, and in a three-sigma process, 99.73% of the output can be counted on to be within the statistical control limits. More important, improvement can begin. From this, we can develop a definition of statistical process control:
Statistical process control (SPC) is a statistical method of separating variation resulting from special causes from variation resulting from natural causes in order to eliminate the special causes and to establish and maintain consistency in the process, enabling process improvement.
Review the section “Statistical Process Control Defined.” Explain how environment and the Five M’s can affect processes used in the following:
A hardware store
A hospital
An accounting firm
A newspaper
A factory
A new-car dealership
Explain the relationship that exists between the histogram and the control chart.
Contrast the histogram’s characteristic of representing a “snapshot” of a process with a control chart.
Defend the statement that the operator of the process should be the owner and data plotter of the control chart, as opposed to a person from quality assurance or engineering, for example.
Comment on the significance of this statement: “Control chart parameters must be statistically derived and cannot simply be specifications or some arbitrary values that are based on production expectations.”

Cultural effect of technology | Education homework help

Technology use affects the culture of a school campus. As a leader, create a technology plan that aligns to the mission and vision of the school, while maintaining student achievement as the desired outcome. For this assignment, you will have the opportunity to observe and collect anecdotal data on technology use.
Allocate at least 2 hours in the field to support this field experience.
Informally walk through 5-10 classrooms and observe how technology is incorporated within the curriculum and instruction. Consider how the use of technology affects the culture of the classroom and school. Have a collaborative discussion with your principal mentor about your observations, and how he or she plans for the use of technology. Include the following in your discussion:

How is technology used in curriculum and instruction? Is the technology accessible for all? Does the technology promote participation in local, national, and global learning communities? Does it stimulate innovation, creativity, and digital age collaboration?
How does leadership create a vision and plan for the use of technology?
How are faculty and staff skills developed for using and integrating technology?
How do faculty and staff ensure the safe use of technology?
How does the use (or non-use) of technology affect the culture in individual classrooms and the school as a whole?

Use any remaining field experience hours to observe or assist the principal mentor.
After the field experience, complete a 500-750 word reflection on your observations and discussion. Incorporate the ISTE Standards for Education Leaders and describe how you will apply what you have learned to your future professional practice.
While APA style format is not required for the body of this assignment, solid academic writing is expected, and PSEL standards should be referenced using APA documentation guidelines, which can be found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.
