Critically evaluate Product functionality is the key to brand success versus product design is the key to brand success. Prices should reflect the value that consumers are willing to pay versus prices should primarily just reflect the cost involved in making a product or service

With Products, Is It Form or Function?

The “form versus function” debate applies in many arenas, including marketing. Some marketers believe that product performance is the end all and be all. Other marketers maintain that the looks, feel, and other design elements of products are what really make the difference.

Take a position: Product functionality is the key to brand success versus product design is the key to brand success.

Is the Right Price a Fair Price?

Prices are often set to satisfy demand or to reflect the premium that consumers are willing to pay for a product or service. Some critics shudder, however, at the thought of $2 bottles of water, $150 running shoes, and $500 concert tickets.

Take a position: Prices should reflect the value that consumers are willing to pay versus prices should primarily just reflect the cost involved in making a product or service

Critically Think of some transformational new businesses such as Starbucks, Apple, or Amazon. How was each different from what came before? What was similar? Scale them in terms of “newness” from truly transformational to substantial (some elements common to what came before, but new enough to create a subcategory). How did each of these organizations develop a customer-centric business model?

submit weekly reflective narratives throughout the course that will culminate in a final, course-long reflective journal due in Topic 10. The narratives help students integrate leadership and inquiry into current practice.

This reflection journal also allows students to outline what they have discovered about their professional practice, personal strengths and weaknesses, and additional resources that could be introduced in a given situation to influence optimal outcomes. Each week students should also explain how they met a course competency or course objective(s).

In each week’s entry, students should reflect on the personal knowledge and skills gained throughout the course. Journal entries should address one or more of the areas stated below. In the Topic 10 graded submission, each of the areas below should be addressed as part of the summary submission.

prepare a professional learning session about your inclusive practice for your colleagues at the first professional development day at the beginning of the year. Identify the key learning needs of the student in the case study

Description

To the writer: Please note my last writer did a poor job in this subject and I ended with a score of 46%. It is absolutely imperative and crucial that I do well in this assignment. I have provided the previous assignment and comments for you so that the same things don’t happen again. I have also provided a list of all the readings from the subject for you to use some as references if needed/desired. Lastly I’ve also provided the ILP template that is mentioned in the assignment here as well. If you need anything else at all please just ask.

Assignment details:

You have been asked to prepare a professional learning session about your inclusive practice for your colleagues at the first professional development day at the beginning of the year. Your supervisor has noticed that your educational setting is truly inclusive and would like you to share with your colleagues the effective inclusive practices you have adopted. The presentation is expected to run for 20 minutes.

You may submit your material in a word document. Alternatively you may prefer to submit your assignment in a digital format – such as a YouTube video; an animated video; a slide cast; a PowerPoint or Prezi, or Mahara ePortfolio.

You may base this assignment on a student case study to be provided or on a student with whose context you are familiar. NB. If basing the assignment on a student of your own choosing, you must preserve the anonymity of that student. Any identifying information about the student or the school must be removed. Use a pseudonym for the student and the school.

Your presentation on your inclusive practices will focus on the following:

Identify the key learning needs of the student in the case study. If you choose a case study from those provided, some learning needs may already be mentioned but you will need to research more widely based on the diagnosis of the student to identify all relevant needs. In addition to general areas of need, identify a particular skill or aspect of curriculum content that is relevant to this student and describe the student’s current level of performance. If relevant, briefly identify the needs of the other students in the group setting as well. You may wish to use a slide or a diagram or a flow chart to show these learning needs in context.

Explain how you differentiated your pedagogy to meet the individual needs of the student in the case study. Focusing on your teaching of a particular skill or aspect of curriculum content, explain the differentiation strategies you used to accommodate the learning needs of the student and create an inclusive learning environment. Justify your strategies with reference to appropriate scholarly literature. If you also made reasonable adjustments for the student explain these adjustments, including how the student benefited, and why they were made. Ensure that you explain the difference between reasonable adjustments and differentiated tasks.

Show the learning plan that you developed for the student in the case study. This may take the form of an Individual Learning Plan (ILP) or a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plan. The plan should, however, clearly define the skill or aspect of curriculum content to be taught, include short and long term goals, instructional techniques and procedures for assessment. Templates will be available on CANVAS (NOTE TO WRITER ALREADY ADDED TO FILES)

Criteria

Comprehensive identification of needs of the student, supported by reference to the literature. (20%)

Suitability of your differentiation strategies and quality of your supporting evidence. (40%)

Relevance of and justification for your student’s learning plan. (30%)

Adherence to academic writing conventions including grammar, clarity and referencing (10%)
