Islam and the west

It should be a dual argument which includes a for and and against argument related to Islam and the west. the main title would be ‘ how the west and Muslims view each other’

1- start off by explaining the population of Muslims in the world and Muslims in the west. then add the population of Christians and Jews in the west with atheist ( this will be useful for the explanation of the future slides. ( main focus are Muslims in the west.

2- explain how the west views Muslims ( all the negatives e.g. terrorists, oppression ) and include how social media has a major effect on those views and why the west would have the right to think this way as only the negative is what is provided to them. – add versus from the Quran that can be interpreted to be negative to support this statement.

3 – explain how not all Muslims are oppressed or terrorist, ( the other side of the story) e.g. a religion of peace and include all the stereotypes of other religions, for example Christians and homophobia. conclude it with social media, news and lack of diversity understanding and the major effect it has on society, especially that it is 2021 and religion is not what makes people bad but bad people interpret religion. add peaceful versus from the Quran to support this statement. – add examples of westerners that support this ideology.

4-explain how Muslims extremists Muslims view the west e.g. eating pork, open minded. ( parents think the west will have bad impact on their children, they might ‘sin’ and become gay/lesbian. how extreme Muslims only live in the west for safety. add examples of Muslims that support this ideology.

5- explain how there are queer Muslims now and that faith is within even though it is a clear sin, only god can judge them. mention the population of Muslims in the west again and explain how that majority can live there even though they ‘ dislike it’ , if it was that bad there are many middle eastern Muslim countries that are still safe. explain the other side of the story. add examples of westerners that live in the west that support this ideology.

6 – end it with ‘ if all Muslims were indeed bad, the west wouldn’t be as peaceful as it is because the majority of Muslims live there and just because the minority are extremely cruel, does not mean that they are the ones to define the religion’. add some examples of other Abrahamic religions and how you can judge the negative based on the minority.

this presentation should be 7 – 10 slides long.

please show statistics, examples of people and make sure it is a dual argument. when writing the ‘ for’ argument, write it as if you agree with them and when writing the ‘ against’ argument, write is as if you agree with them. until you get to the ending, end it with the 6th point that i added.

DIVERSITY ARTICLE

Inclusive Leadership is quickly becoming the go-to leadership model in today’s workplace. Inclusive leadership seeks to assure all team members feel they are treated respectfully and fairly, are valued and sense that they belong, and are confident and inspired. From the article, you will quickly learn how beneficial this type of leadership is particularly towards millennials and generation Z.

Assignment Checklist
In this week’s Diversity Article #3, there are 6 inclusive leader traits researchers found. In this Harvard Business Review article, please address the following elements in your assignment:
For each of the six inclusive leadership traits, state the trait and how have you seen (or not seen) this trait exemplified in the workplace or classroom. Note, leadership doesn’t always come from leaders, look at your colleagues and classmates that are younger or at the same level as you. I.e. have you seen inclusive leadership in this class or within your working group?
What leaders say and do has an outsized impact on others, but research indicates that this effect is even more pronounced when they are leading diverse teams. In your own words, define inclusive leadership and how you have or plan to lead inclusively in the workplace or the classroom.

DATA MODELING

writing a data model that would be used to identify an employee likely to leave.

Problem below:
The pandemic forced many businesses to reduce staff. As lockdown restrictions relax, vaccination rates increase, and federal stimulus tapers off, employers struggle to fill vacant positions. The labor shortage predates COVID-19, the pandemic has only compounded an existing problem leaving many businesses scrambling to find workers. Pay hikes, hybrid work schedules, expanded safety measures, and increased benefits are some of the strategies companies are using to encourage employees to return to work. Predictive data analytics will help identify the best approach for the customer service industry to attract new employees.

INHERITANCE: NATURE VERSUS NURTURE

Listen to the complete podcast (1 hour, 6 min) http://www.radiolab.org/story/251876-inheritance/ (be sure to wait for the entire page to load and then click on the play button toward the top of the page so that you can hear the entire podcast).
Write a reaction summary describing your reaction and opinion regarding the podcast you just listened to.
In your summary be sure to include an underlined term from the textbook that relates to the subject at hand. Be sure that you do not use the term ‘epigenetics’ or ‘nature/nurture’ debate as these are too basic. Again you must underline the term that you select and then fully explain how it connects to the podcast that you listened to
