Paper details:

I have 3 question that have prompts and i just them to be answer no need for a full essay. QUESTION 1 Choose FIVE (5) of the following terms and write 3-5 sentences a) giving a concise definition/description, b) explaining its importance to its era of aviation, and c) how it is related to development of commercial aviation policy. Make sure the number and term are clear in your response (i.e. use the number associated to prior to writing your response). Each definition is worth 4 pts. If you choose to answer more than 5, the first 5 answered will be the ones used for grading (pick intentionally). • 1) SPOILS CONFERENCE • 2) AIR MAIL ACT 1925 3) WILLIAM MACCRACKEN Jr 4) ZEPPELIN AIRSHIPS 5) NATIONAL ADVISORY COMMITE FOR AERONAUTICS (NACA) • 6) INTERSTATE COMMERCE COMMISSION (ICC) • 7) CIVIL AERONAUTICS BOARD • 8) CIVIL AERONAUTICS ACT of 1938 • 9) AIR TRANSPORTATION SECUIRTY ACT 1974 • 10) AIRLINE DEREGULATION ACT 1978 QUESTION 2 Pick 4 of the 7 following short answer questions. Be succinct but clear in each response and focus on the context as we have specifically discussed in class. Each question is worth 10 points (same picking rules apply as above). 1. Starting with the post office in 1925 as the first agency tasked with regulation of commercial aviation practices, provide an outline the evolution of the specific agencies involved with the regulation of aviation safety standards through 1940 (the amended Civil Aeronautics Act). Briefly explain how each agency was given the authority to regulate aviation safety (the “enabling’ statute”, i.e. what policy/legislative act). (Hint: You should be able to identify 6 different agencies). 2. Briefly discuss why the Army was unable to successfully carry the mail in the 1934, and why the Airlines were the only logical choice by then for the responsibility. How did US policy post WWI set the stage for this failure? 3. After WWil, the United States had to confront segregation as society pushed towards equality under the law. Change did not occur overnight and despite the Supreme Court Case Brown v. Board of Education officially ending “separate but equal” airports in the Southern US struggled to treat everyone equally. Describe the integration struggles faced by African Americans in commercial aviation (airports and airlines) especially in the South. 4. There were essentially no airport security standards up until the 196Os. Briefly describe some of the security issues that started to occur in each decade of the 50s, 60s, and 70s and policy changes to address the issues. What specific security implementations helped reduce the number of security related incidents and how? 5. What were 3 oversight powers of the Civil Aeronautics Board as originally granted in 1940? Briefly discuss the fall of the CAB as it relates to the elimination of each power after WWil through 1978. 6. The government controlled much of the economics of commercial airlines between 1925 and 1978 over 2 fears: monopolistic corporate dominance by 1 private airline and destructive competition, neither of which would lead to a successful mode of mass public transportation. Briefly describe how these 2 fears guided policy changes (or a lack of policy change) during these decades. 7. Describe the development of international aviation. Why was the Foreign Air Mail Act of 1928 deemed necessary and how was Pan Am in the position to be the sole success for early international development. Finally, did WWII shape the international aviation context for the post war years as the golden era of aviation transitioned to the jet age? QUESTION 3 Choose 1 of the 2 questions described below. Answer the following in as complete detail as possible in paragraph format. Be sure to explicitly and clearly answer each part in a way that directly relates to the materials discussed as a part of the class. Key terms should be identified and explained, always relating the answers back to our understanding of aviation policy in the early era. 1. Describe the evolution of aviation policy from 1903 through 1940. Make sure to include key dates, events, people, and acts/legislation. 2. Describe the evolution of aviation policy from 1941 through 1978. Make sure to incluhkzde key dates, events, people, and acts/legislation.

How can social media be used to spread awareness on human trafficking?

Research Question- How can social media be used to spread awareness on human trafficking?

Social Media- What I mean by social media pertaining to this research is websites and applications that enable users to create and share content or to participate in social networking. For example, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

Awareness- What I mean by awareness pertaining to this research is the knowledge or perception of a situation or fact. I will operationalize awareness by calculating the amount of likes and comments posted on social media, followers and the frequency of content being shared. I will accomplish this through the content analysis method as well as interviews from participants who are active members. This will help me analyze and get a better understanding of the knowledge people know or don’t know about human trafficking.

Human Trafficking- What I mean by human trafficking pertaining to this research is the unlawful act of transporting or coercing people in order to benefit from their work or service, typically in the form of forced labor or sexual exploitation.

Conduct independent work requiring initiative in designing systematic study using effective and scientifically-sound investigative techniques, supported by information from primary and secondary sources

1. Introduction
The Capstone Project is a year-long experience designed to provide you with the opportunity
to consolidate the knowledge and skills you have accumulated in your undergraduate studies.
Through this project, you can explore a topic that is of interest to you. The project affords you
the chance to investigate this topic in a depth and a breadth that a class project or examination
cannot allow. It is also a platform for you to reflect on how your education can be synthesized,
distilled, and applied to issues that you care about, including social issues, policy issues,
organizational solutions, or research questions that you plan on pursuing in the future.
In this booklet, you will find details about the Capstone Project, including the timeline,
requirements, and regulations related to it. While we intend to be as informative as possible in
this booklet, the information presented here is by no means comprehensive. If in doubt, it is
your responsibility to check with your Project Supervisor, and work out a plan with him/her.
2. Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the project, you are expected to be able to:
a. Demonstrate their professionally-specific skills and knowledge needed to make an
immediate contribution to the workplace and as a foundation for professional development
(BBA Outcome 11);
