One of the most vital HR responsibilities in an organization is making employment decisions, including hiring and selecting the firm’s employees. Significantly, employment decisions have a powerful impact on the applicants, employees, and the organization (Roth et al., 2016). Designing fair and constant employment procedures ensures that all competent applicants have an equal chance of obtaining employment. Besides, Roth et al. (2016) state that employees perceived fairness in the workplace and the authority’s decision-making builds trust and fosters employee engagement and commitment. Human resource practices, including utilizing targeted recruiting, employing cognitive and non-cognitive tests, and employing post-tests, ensure that the most competent employees are given a fair chance to get employment (Clay & Gold, 2019). In return, once new employees are selected and hired through fair employment procedures, the workers are more committed to organizational practices such as training and development programs, rendering training an easy and effective procedure. Cascio (2019) found that when employees and potential employees are placed in a fair work environment, the individuals grow more dedication and commitment to organizational procedures since they know that the outcomes and the whole process will be fair. Therefore, this shows that fairness in employment decisions often increases employees’ commitment to the training development processes, making it easy for them to grasp the content and develop optimally.

A fair employment environment helps employees and job seekers feel wanted, worth and listened to. Designing unbiased tests, constant rules, and recruitment employment procedures help individuals feel valued and have an equal opportunity to share their knowledge, talents, and skills to make an organization achieve its goals. Hence, when fair employment decisions exist, workers are more engaged in training and development procedures, enriching the process. All the players are open and feel comfortable sharing their expertise to learn without discrimination. Also, having clearly-stated concrete rules, informing employees of appropriate workplace behaviors, and fairly dealing with workers’ complaints enhance employee productivity and conduct (Clay & Gold, 2019). Therefore, employees believe in the training and development programs that inform them of proper workplace behaviors and cultures, making them successful. With fair employment decisions, employees participate fully and develop from the teachings, increasing the efficiency of these programs.

Most employees value respect, equality, engagement, and fair treatment in work environments in the modern business world. In essence, the factors mentioned above mostly influence employee behaviors positively by enhancing employee commitment, work productivity, and loyalty. Employees commit to training and development programs when companies appreciate diversity and foster equality and fairness in the work environment. Hence, training programs are significantly improved and successful in ensuring that employees reach optimum development and meet organizational goals.

Determine the purpose and intended impact of the policy. Birth Control and the Right to Privacy

 

By primarily invoking the 4th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, the U.S. Supreme Court made a landmark decision in 1973 in Roe v. Wade, ruling that American women have the right to have an abortion. Roe v. Wade represented the culmination of several federal cases and laws regarding women, sexuality, and reproductive rights, beginning with the Comstock Act of 1873, which made circulating “Obscene Literature and Articles of Immoral Use” illegal. Congress unequivocally targeted the use of contraceptives in this law, which classified information about contraception as “obscene literature.” Further, Congress empowered the U.S. Postal Service to confiscate and report on any information about contraceptives and/or birth control devices sent by U.S. mail. Despite protests from reproductive rights activistsincluding the vociferous birth control advocate Margaret Sangerto overturn the Comstock Law, over fifty years passed before Judge Grover Moscowitz of the U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York, overturned the law, ruling in 1938 that the prescription and importing of contraceptives by physicians for the health and well-being of their patients is legal. The U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit affirmed Judge Moscowitz’s decision.

 

The Supreme Court did not begin to fully overturn the Comstock Law until nearly one century after its passage, when the Court ruled in Griswold v. Connecticut (1965) that the U.S. Constitution protects the use of birth control. This landmark Supreme Court decision officially legalized the use of contraceptives by married couples to control reproduction by classifying the use of birth control as a right to privacy issue protected by the U.S. Constitution. (Per the Fourth Amendment, a bedroom is a private place that in theory requires a warrant for intrusion.) Seven years later, SCOTUS recognized the reproductive rights of all Americans in Eisenstadt v. Baird (1972), which legalized the purchase and use of contraceptives by unmarried Americans.

·       Should have a brief back ground about the therapeutic intervention and how it works and present a rationale for selection of this therapeutic intervention.

·       What are the gaps in the previously done SR, and why yours will be different.

·       The introduction should end by the aim of the systematic review (i.e. clear PICO question with clear outcomes).

The method (~500-600 words) should include:

·       Search strategy: An appropriate search strategy with at least two databases used. Relevant Keywords and their synonyms.   You need to copy each search strategy from each database. any filters used. Date of search.

·       Inclusion and exclusion criteria. What study design you are looking for is very important. Patients characteristics, what type of treatment they are receiving.

·       N: B. Any language or date restriction needs to be mentioned. i.e. Include the time frame for the search. Also, any language restrictions added, for example studies in English. Also, any language restrictions added, for example studies in English.

·       Outcomes: What are the outcomes that you will look at, how are they defined and how will they be measured?

·       Reviewing process: What is the screening, eligibility and inclusion process that took place.   Have you included open access sources only, or have you tried to contact authors to get access to non-free articles?

·       Data extraction: What data you will extract from each study? e.g. study names, dates, Patient’s characteristics, participants’ numbers, dose, interventions, outcomes, limitations, country where the study was conducted, etc.

·       Assessment of Risk of Bias: You should describe the tool that will be used to assess the risk of bias. For example, if you are looking for RCTs, you will use JADAD score or Consort check list to assess the risk of bias. Cohort and observational studies New Castel Ottawa.

The results (~400-500 words)

·       You must provide a Prisma flow chart as a figure

·       Describe the stages of the Prisma flow charts while referring to the figure of the Prisma flow chart

·       Produce a table of results which compares the findings of each outcome in columns not rows (see examples). Remember the number of the included studies should be the same as by the end of the Prisma flow chart

·       Subheadings are needed for each outcome and you should describe the key results for each outcome under these headings. Do not evaluate the results at this stage and try to avoid describing each study one by one.

·       e.g. an outcome might be ‘mortality’

·       You would write about the mortality findings from all of the studies, but without writing these 1 by 1 as the table highlights this more clearly. For example, 4 studies examining 2000 patients find an increase in the mortality rate after this intervention while 2 studies have no effect on mortality. i

·       The results of the risk of bias of each study. If it is JADAD score or Newcastle Ottawa this is best presented by inclusion in the table. If it is another tool, then this could be written under a subheading.

The Discussion (~700 words)

·       You should discuss the data presented in the results in the table of data extraction

·       You need to evaluate the evidence and critically analyse the effect of the selected treatment on each outcome.   Look closely at each study method and results to evaluate the evidence.

·       Compare your systematic review with other published systematic reviews and other relevant literature.

·       What could be the mechanism (molecular mechanism) of the efficacy and the safety of the selected intervention

·       Consider the limitations of your systematic review. General and subject specific limitation.

The Conclusion (~100 words)

·       Concise conclusion is required to answer the key question about if this intervention is safe of efficient in treating the selected condition or not, your answer should be based on what you have discussed in the discussion and based on the evidence coming from the reviewed studies. It is recommended to propose a future research idea is recommended
