Discuss the treatment procedures for mental illness and anxiety and type of care given to the patient in the following case scenario.

SCENARIO: John Short

John Short is a 45-year-old gentleman admitted to your assessment unit after he presented at A&E with cuts to his wrists and neck. He had cut himself with a kitchen knife following what he described as a “panic attack” where he “lost the plot”. He is settled, his wounds have been dressed and overall were not life threatening. Following assessment John was offered an informal admission to the local inpatient assessment unit. John has no previous contact with primary or secondary mental health services.

John works in the office of a delivery company and says that there has been asked to do more and more in the past few months as people have left or retired from their posts and he has not been coping well. John was also informed that the company were planning on outsourcing some of their work, and as a result there might be redundancies in the near future. John describes feeling increasingly stressed over this time, unable to concentrate, worrying that he might lose his job and ruminating on how this would affect the family.

John is married with two small children 10 and 5 years old. During his admission assessment he described his wife as loving and supportive and is worried that he “has put her through hell” and that he has “behaved stupidly”. He feels he has let his children down even though they did not see him harm himself or witness any of his distress and worry. John reflected on feeling increasingly anxious on heading out to work, worrying about his job security, so much so that he has not been sleeping well. John said that he feels he has been depressed for a short while but felt unable to talk to anyone about this. His wife is very worried about him, and he stated that she has told him many times that, “we can cope John, your job is not as important as your health”. John stated that he has been “stupid” and that he has “ruined everything”. He wishes he could turn the clock back to a time when he was “on top of things at work”. He worries that he might panic again and is scared of what he might do.

This is John’s first day on your unit, and this is his first 1-1 session with you since his admission. He is happy to talk to you.

How have you grown as a learner from engaging the work? My Story and how this paper should be written. I chose to do a project on trying to help raise money and goods like clothes, backpack, books, pens, papers and so on for less privileged kids and refugee kids in Nigeria. I Chose to do this project because I was born in America but I was raised in Nigeria. I have seen the way people grow up in Nigeria. No food, No clothes, No money. I have friends that I grew up with who cant afford to eat three square meals a day because their family do not have enough to provide for them. I do send money and buy food for people in Nigeria from time to time. I just like helping. This paper should follow this timeline listed below. Week 1. This week should detail how I went from person to person on the streets and telling them about my story of helping out the less privileged kids in Africa. During this week I got a total of 20 people to help me. six people gave me 5 dollars each, two people gave me 20 dollars each, and three people gave me 10 dollars each. Week 2. This week should detail how I went to schools to talk to students about the mission. The schools I went to were Salt Lake Community College, Weber State University and University of Utah. I went to the schools on Tuesday and Friday. I could not go more because I was busy with work. Most of the students didn’t want to hear what I had to say. I did get one person to give me 10 dollars. Week 3. This week should talk about how I went to little sporting events around the city of salt Lake 6/15/2022 Writers Hub – Freelance Writing https://www.writershub.org/writer/orders/872105#instructions 4/5 to talk to people. Spoke with a bunch of soccer players that play soccer every night at the park. Most of them are also from Africa. You would think they would be willing to help but they weren’t interested. Spoke to two of the moms of a kid that was playing soccer. She was able to give me two back packs. Week 4. This week should talk about how I went door to door to talk to people in my neighborhood of South Salt Lake county to see if they will help me. Majority of the people I went to thought I was mormon and I wanted to preach to them whenever I approached their house. Two ladies got my user name for my Cash app and said they will send me something to help. Maybe they will, maybe not. A lot of people who couldn’t help with money said they would have helped with food if the kids I was helping was out here in the states. My neighbor said he will donate $100 to the cause. I stopped by a house and a little kid gave me one of his toys to donate to the kids. Week 5. This week should talk about how I went to Deseret Industries. This is a Mormon Store in Utah that Sells cheap stuff that’s affordable. majority of the stuff they have are donated from people in the neighborhood. If you have used clothes or shoes or Furniture you could take it there and donate it. I went there seeing if they would help out. They said I should stop by week to week and whatever they can give me they will. I got 10 clothes that are fairly used from them the day I went there.

analyse the attainability of the recommendations on breastfeeding for two years by Muslim mothers based on the teaching of the Holy Quran.

Introduction

This thesis explores the tension between a rapid increase in Qatari mothers entering the labour market and the specific historic, cultural and religious expectations upon mothers with regards to breastfeeding, creating challenges for mothers, employers as well as policy makers. In the previous chapter, it has been established that indeed job demands, and policies profoundly undermine the ability of mothers who choose to breastfeed their infants beyond the first few months after birth. Examining the experiences of mothers in the Qatari workplace has become an important issue of late since legislations put in place in the state continues to increase the participation of women in all sectors of the economy. Conversely, the current modern workplace settings and policies does not recognise appropriately the other role of women when became a mother and denies the dependencies of their children. The exercising of employment rights, exposes Qatari mothers to the corporate world where existing requirements and policies compel them to focus less on some of their traditional and religious duties as mothers such as breastfeeding for 2 years as Islamic teachings require them.

This chapter outlines the theoretical framework of Islamic feminism to help understand how breastfeeding Muslim mothers have different challenges in balancing breastfeeding and their professional demands. The study will also employ the general understanding of feminism based on feminist theories to explore the challenges experienced by Qatari mothers returning to work after giving birth. The theoretical framework also aims to explore the understanding and application and the challenges of Islamic feminists and their contribution to championing the professional rights of Islamic women in the workplace.

This chapter will draw my position on how the concepts of feminism in the theoretical framework affect the Qatari women in the workplace. Additionally, the chapter will summarise the Islamic perspective on feminism. The study’s analytical framework will analyse the attainability of the recommendations on breastfeeding for two years by Muslim mothers based on the teaching of the Holy Quran. Different research works focusing on understanding employment and breastfeeding experiences and challenges by mothers at workplaces shall be examined.

Discussions and consultations on the scope of the project, schedule and the composition of the Project Team, were conducted with the stakeholders (Table 3). All stakeholders understood the necessity and benefits of this project since the impressions of the two fatal accidents which involved lifting operations in 2019 were still in their minds. A good mix of enthusiastic representatives formed the strong project team with the HSE Manager’s suggestion to include the subcontractors. The project team also has subject matter experts in risk management, lifting operations and tower crane operations on hand to provide guidance. All appointments in the project team and RA team has a leader and deputy in place, and all trainings have a primary and secondary trainer as back-up to ensure the smooth running of the project.

A kick-off meeting lead by the Managing Director and attended by all stakeholders, was initiated to keep all informed of the project, the common aims, objectives and benefits to the company, project and subcontractors. The project also consulted the appropriate stakeholders though discussions with the tower crane operators and lifting crews in informal settings, and the HSE Manager arranged a site visit for observations and discussions to have a different perspective on tower crane lifting safety.

As communication is an important attribute, the study provides regular updates through the Daily Progress Reports & Milestone Progress Reports (Appendix 1). A WhatsApp group was also created to provide immediate group communication. The project team also held Focus Meetings (Appendix 2) to update on the progress and schedule, discussed on the project including challenges, and distribution of the tasks ahead. The Project Admin circulated the minutes of the meeting to all key stakeholders to keep them informed of the project.
