Description

You are a prosecutor assigned to a District Attorney’s office in a major urban area. You have a very full case load. You specialize in drug and violent crime investigations. Consider each of the following scenarios. Offer an opinion as to whether the actions are legal, and support your answer. Offer an opinion as to whether the actions are ethical, and support your answer. * Leaking the identity of a seventeen-year-old gang member who you are fairly certain committed a drive-by shooting to the media knowing full well he was in danger from rival gang members, and then offering protective custody only if he would plead guilty. * Authorizing the arrest of a fourteen-year-old boy who confessed to a crime, even though there was no serious possibility that he was guilty, in order to pressure a guilty relative to confess to murder. * Authorizing the arrest of one brother for possession of a very small amount of marijuana, even though you know the charge would ultimately be thrown out by the judge (but the young man would probably lose a scholarship to college) in order to have leverage so that he would testify against his brother, who is a known drug smuggler. The drug smuggler’s activities have resulted in the deaths of numerous teenagers.

Systematic Literature Review

Preliminary Literature Search

  1. if research has already been conducted in the field
  2. the scale of the research (n of publications; dates; country)
  3. key themes in the research

Methodology/Research Approach

Questions to help you decide:

  • What are typical approaches to research in your discipline?
  • Is your approach influenced by prior, similar research?
  • Have there been methodological problems with previous research in your chosen area that you want to try and address?

Focusing on your topic, spend an hour researching and thinking about the following questions…

  • How/why is the ‘education’ related topic you have chosen important? (in other words, why is it relevant, according to the literature?)
  • Have others researched it before?
  • How have they researched it?
  • How long has it been researched for? (e.g. is there a substantial history to the area or is it an emerging interest)
  • Are there any critical aspects or disputed areas of the topic?

design and justify an appropriate and achievable research project with due regard for methodological and ethical considerations

This is an 8000-word dissertation in the form of a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with supporting appendices

  • design and justify an appropriate and achievable research project with due regard for methodological and ethical considerations
  • critically locate the proposed research with reference to academic literature
  • collate, analyse and interpret data and evaluate the implications for the research focus
  • communicate findings from research effectively observing academic conventions of writing and referencing

The research method I have decided to do is a systematic literature review as I think it is the best way to identify and synthesized the current state of knowledge of the research.

I believe a systematic literature review is an effective way to gather the necessary data to draw a reliable conclusion

To get a wide range of data I will review either qualitative and quantitative data or both.

Inclusion criteria I will be including literature that was published 2000 –2022 to look at how homeschooling has changed and what is the outcome of students that have been home schooled in the past, their career/jobs.

The geographical regions I want to investigate are United Kingdom. The age of participants will both be primary and secondary schools when looking at data that involves.

During my degree in Education studies, I have recognized, and that the education system is not as great as it should be and have learned multiple ways of educating based on child-centered learning.

This is my dream for the education system to focus on individualized learning to get the most from the students, the course has also explored how crucial it is to have parental involvement in a child academic journey.

Home-schooling happens to be one educating program where parental involvement is significant.

However, I have heard many disadvantages more than advantages, therefore I wanted to investigate on this and widen my knowledge on this topic.

I have attached the 13 papers I would like analysed with the data. for the scale of the study there should be a minimum of 70 references altogether. I have attached a SLR guidance please could you follow it and use it is very helpful. There is a section for acknowledgements which you could leave blank as I will fill it in in the end. Please use APA 7th edition.

In chapter 2 Methodology (2.3 Review of Systematic Literature Reviews). I have included 3 different types of systematic literature reviews:

In 2.4 Design of The Systematic Literature Review

Scoping review and textual narrative synthesis is the choice of the design

Consider whether the women in the advertisement are doing emphasized femininity, being feminine apologetic, or doing masculinity (emphatic sameness)

Women with ambitions to enter male-dominated professions may make a patriarchal bargain that involves being “just one of the guys,” a strategy sociologist Michael Kimmel refers to as emphatic sameness. emphasized femininity, an exaggerated form of conventional femininity “oriented to accommodating the interests and desires of men.” The requirement that women balance masculine interests, traits, and activities with conventional femininity is called feminine apologetic.

Description

For our discussion on femininity, go to find a print advertisement aimed at/featuring a woman (this can include ads in magazines or ones found online and printed). In your discussion post: Share your ads on the discussion (take a photo or screenshot); Consider whether the women in the advertisement are doing emphasized femininity, being feminine apologetic, or doing masculinity (emphatic sameness) [check your textbook chapter to see the definition of each term] Consider if the marketers (i.e., people who made the ads) intended female consumers to like and identify with the woman;

provide evidence based, compassionate and safe nursing interventions.

Topic:

Platform 4: providing and evaluating care: provide evidence based, compassionate and safe nursing interventions. Support people of all ages in a range of care settings, working in partnership with people, families and carers to evaluate whether care is effective. Platform 3: assessing and planning care: prioritise the needs of people when assessing and reviewing their mental, physical, cognitive, behavioural, social and spiritual needs.

Description

Please produce a 500 word reflective piece for 2 platforms. Reflective practice is a way to consider how you can put changes or improvements into action in your everyday practice. See attached documents for more details.

Do the results reflect gender inequality? How so?

Description

Open two Internet search engines and pose as a concerned parent. Type questions such as “Why does my girl like boy stuff?” “Should I be worried if my girl likes short hair” or “Should I be worried if my daughter doesn’t like to wear dresses?” into the search engine in one window; Type questions such as “Why does my boy like girl stuff?” “Should I be worried if my boy likes barbie dolls?” or “Should I be worried if my son likes ballet dancing?” in the other search engine. Review the two pages of the results. How are the results similar or different? Do the results reflect gender inequality? How so? Click through and explore the returned pages if you desire. Find two friends (or family members) who are parents; Pose the hypothetical questions (i.e., if they have a gender-atypical child), and see if their reactions are similar or different from the web search results.
