Discuss How you will determine the effectiveness of the onboarding program

An onboarding training program includes the basic information that employees need to understand their new job. Increasingly, onboarding training programs use collaborative meeting and learning technologies to connect onboarding participants. Using this article and CTU Library resources, research employee orientation programs, and develop a 1-day virtual onboarding plan that includes the following:

  • The agenda of training modules for 1 day, including the time allotted for each module
  • A brief description of each activity in the training module
  • The type of technology or media and how it will be used for each training module
  • How you will determine the effectiveness of the onboarding program

Determine the factors to consider when evaluating price reasonableness.

Overview
Imagine that you are a government employee (or military personnel). You have received a proposal from a contractor for a $2,000,000,000 project for the purchase of 52 towers to be installed on the Arizona-Mexico border. Each tower will have radar, night vision, and day vision with a 7.5-mile range. You have been appointed as the Chairman of the Source Selection Evaluation Team.
Instructions
Write a 3–5 page paper in which you:
Defend the purpose of technical evaluations, including the importance of integrity, fairness, and the factors to determine the competitive range, to inform the proposal selection process.
Create an outline of the final technical evaluation report.
Determine the factors to consider when evaluating price reasonableness.
Examine different methods of price analysis; include which price analysis method is best for the scenario provided and support the selection of this method.

Simplify each expression using the rules of exponents and examine the steps you are taking.

In this discussion, you will simplify and compare equivalent expressions written both in radical form and with rational (fractional) exponents. Read the following instructions in order and view the MAT222 Week 3 Discussion Example to complete this discussion. Please complete the following problems according to your assigned number. (Instructors will assign each student their number.)

On pages 575 – 577, do the following problem: 22

On pages 584 – 585, do the following problem: 28

  • Simplify each expression using the rules of exponents and examine the steps you are taking.
  • Incorporate the following five math vocabulary words into your discussion. Use bold font to emphasize the words in your writing. Do not write definitions for the words; use them appropriately in sentences describing the thought behind your math work.
    • Principal root
    • Product rule
    • Quotient rule
    • Reciprocal
    • nth root

Refer to Inserting Math Symbols for guidance with formatting. Be aware with regards to the square root symbol, you will notice that it only shows the front part of a radical and not the top bar. Thus, it is impossible to tell how much of an expression is included in the radical itself unless you use parenthesis. For example, if we have √12 + 9 it is not enough for us to know if the 9 is under the radical with the 12 or not.  Therefore, we must specify whether we mean it to say √(12) + 9  or  √(12 + 9), as there is a big difference between the two. This distinction is important in your notation.

Another solution is to type the letters “sqrt” in place of the radical and use parenthesis to indicate how much is included in the radical as described in the second method above. The example above would appear as either “sqrt(12) + 9” or  “sqrt(12 + 9)” depending on what we needed it to say.

Your initial post should be at least 250 words in length.

What makes the Houyhnhnms’ society ideal or a model for humans?

After reading Part 4 of Gulliver’s Travels, answer the following questions in this discussion board. Be sure you answer in complete sentences and use at least two (2) quotes from the poem to support each of your answers. Include proper MLA in-text citations.
1. Analyze the Houyhnhnms and their culture: what do they believe about themselves? How accurate is their assessment? What does Gulliver believe?
2. What makes the Houyhnhnms’ society ideal or a model for humans?
3. What irony happens in this chapter and how does it occur? Consider how it was used in “A Modest Proposal.”
(PLEASE USE TWO CITATIONS PER ANSWER)

what does each state do to report the recidivism rates?

This is Chapter 4 for a Capstone Project. I have attached Chapters 1-3 for reference.
Chapter IV: Results
This chapter includes a presentation and analysis of the data. The tone of the chapter is purely objective, devoid of assumptions and interpretations.

Following a summary of the research data, Chapter IV should be organized in a manner consistent with the research hypotheses: first, present data related to the first hypothesis; and second, analyze those data to determine whether the first hypothesis can be supported or rejected. Follow this sequence for each hypothesis.

Tables are an effective way to present quantitative data. Qualitative data should be summarized, as opposed to verbatim transcriiptions.
MY HYPOTHESIS:
States are under the impression that punishing juvenile offenders will teach them a lesson, although the lesson may not be the right one. California has found a way to do this while taking steps to reduce recidivism rates in the Juvenile Justice System.
Chapter 4 should reflect data about the Nationwide juvenile justice system. Basically answering the question, is it really possible to do this comparison? what does each state do to report the recidivism rates? Do they do the same things or different things? Can one actually be considered better than the other?

How was the media portraying early radical environmental movements of the 1970’s and beyond?

hello,
My research question although not very clear but you have the freedom to tweak it as you see most fitting. Below are some questions that I think will help you understand my topic. Social media has to be a main focus of my study in some way.
My research question should be based on your understanding of the following questions:
How was the media portraying early radical environmental movements of the 1970’s and beyond? Was the mainstream media helpful in spreading their intentions behind their illigal radical direct action? Were they successful in creating the change they fought for.
How did the use of social media help modern radicals environmentalists portray themselves without their need for mainstream media to share their stories, or are they still in need of mainstream news?
Has the use of social media helped with their cause or are their actions of civil disobedience (glueing themselves and throwing paint on famous art work) hurting the cause. Is social media helping in recruiting new members for these radical environmental groups.

why do you still believe in the truth of your claim even though reasonable people believe a contradictory position?

1. What are three reasons why I believe in the truthfulness/reasonableness of my thesis/assertion? What is the best/most compelling reason?
2. To support my thesis I will provide the following evidence/use the following sources (be specific):
3. Any key terms that must be defined?
4. Make a list of at least 2 possible arguments that are in opposition to my claim (opposing points of view). Which seems to be the strongest opposing view?
6. Rebuttal: How might I refute this OPOV? (In other words, why do you still believe in the truth of your claim even though reasonable people believe a contradictory position?)
