Photo or scan and upload as a jpeg or pdf to the discussion board then post your discussion. Write an analysis of the photograph in terms of chapter 9 vocabulary AND the elements and principles of design.  Do a little background research on the artist and the photograph.  How are the elements and principles used to strengthen the concept of this work?Tina ModottiMother and child, Tehuantepec, Oaxaca, Mexico, 1929

International Operations Discussion

1. What is your opinion of the course? Did it meet your expectations? What suggestions can you offer for improvements of this course for future students?Have any of these conceptions changed? Why?What have you learned about international law that you did not know?Is there anything that you thought you knew that you now understand differently after studying the materials in this course?Answer in couple sentences. subject is international operations and then agree or disagree within 2-3 sentences to post below2.I have to say I enjoyed this course a lot. I actually learned a lot. I especially enjoyed the course project, constructing a memo letter for the expansion of our selected businesses in our choice of country. I learned a lot about the country of Singapore and what my business would need to be knowledgeable of when settling in this country. I just think this assignment was great for business professionals in researching international law and what important aspects to consider to start a successful business. At this point, I do not think I would change much about this course. I found it very helpful. Since unit 1, my preconceptions seem to still be accurate, as I believed that business overseas get more tax breaks and less regulations, cheaper labor costs and initial overhead costs.

Valencia DRAFT Outline/Script

Team Project #2: DRAFT Outline/ScriptThe purpose of this assignment is to take technical topic that you selected on an engineering work setting and develop you Team Project further. You will Expand upon this topic by developing and DRAFT Outline/Script of the various elements of your final presentation, and some points of discussion, along with your FIRST DRAFT of the words that will be spoken in the final presentation, presented via Item 3. PowerPoint, and Item 4. Final Video. I would encourage you to think about the DRAFT Outline/Script that is related to your planned future career. The DRAFT Outline/Script must contain a statistical topic that you learned in this course, so that you can show your ability to synthesize the information you have learned here into a real-world engineering situation. You will be graded as follows:Group Submission:This second assignment on the Team Project #2 in a Group Submission. Develop your “DRAFT Outline/Script” together. Only one person will need to submit it.Chapter 1: Overview and Descriptive StatisticsChapter 2: ProbabilityChapter 3: Discrete Random Variables and Prob DistChapter 4: Continuous Random Variables and ProbChapter 5: Joint Probability Dist and Random SampChapter 6: Point EstimationChapter 7: Stat Intervals Based on a Single Sample

Dispersion Model and Segregated Flow Model Essay

Models are useful for representing flow in real vessels, for scale up, and for diagnosing poor flow. These models apply to turbulent flow in pipes, laminar flow in very long tubes, flow in packed beds etc. An ideal pulse of tracer is introduced into a reactor and the pulse spreads as it passes through the vessel, and to characterize the spreading according to various modelsIllustrate the spreading of tracer using Dispersion model And segregated flow model With suitable diagram

Essay Exam 3.Using your own words and ideas, discuss each of the following. You can cite outside material if needed, but your response should be primarily your own thinking and writing. You may not submit text composed or modified by any computer program. Refer to the course handout and the departmental statement on citation and be sure to provide a reference as needed for ideas and wording obtained from another source. Tests will be routinely screened for plagiarism. Exam responses will be graded for content, understanding, composition, spelling, and usage. Tests will be open book/open notes, but the emphasis should be on expressing your own understanding and ideas, rather than just looking up the correct answer. The instructor will be looking for your own thinking and knowledge of the topic. The depth of the response should be commensurate with the number of points assigned. I recommend that you type your responses directly into this Word document and submit the saved .docx file. If you use a Mac, do NOT submit a “.pages” file or other formats specific to a Mac. I am not able to open .pages files, so I would be unable to grade your test.1. Examine the butterflies in the photograph. (You should be able to enlarge the photograph to get a better look.) Consider that there is variation both within and between species. It is possible that all of these butterflies belong to one highly variable species. At the other extreme, it is possible (but probably unlikely) that each butterfly is a different species. The reality probably lies somewhere in between. Consider what you know about species, species concepts, population thinking, and species boundaries. Formulate a hypothesis regarding the number of species and the species boundaries (i.e., which groups of individuals belong to the same species) in these butterflies. Then tell how you would test your hypothesis. 10 points2. Discuss the different kinds of fossils and how they are formed. (8 points)3. The accompanying data file contains hypothetical 30 bases of nucleotide data for seven hypothetical species identified by color (the colors are arbitrary and don’t provide any clues to phylogeny). Use the DNA data to construct a maximum parsimony tree. For each node of the ingroup, note on the tree the number of synapomorphies supporting that node. (10 points) You can submit your tree in a separate file or included in your exam, as you wish.4. How many nucleotide positions have homoplasies? Give the number(s) of any nucleotide positions with homoplasies. (2 points)
