Social work case study work, a young female who is 17 and will be turning 18 in a few months. She is a refuge from Sudan and come to the Uk. She became a Looked After Child due to her mother agreeing to section 20 of the children care act

This is level 7 piece I have attached the guidelines for the social work evidence based reflective case study assignment.

I have also sent an example of a case study, however please can you change this to a young female who is 17 and will be turning 18 in a few months. She is a refuge from Sudan and come to the Uk. She became a Looked After Child due to her mother agreeing to section 20 of the children care act. This was due to the young person (Asha) being physically abused by her mother. She does not contact any of her parents and her dad went missing in Sudan and she is unable to relocate him. Asha has faced many adversities and one which includes female genital mutilations.

The rest of the case study is similar to the example however as she is going to turn 18 she will become an adult though she is currently 17 so that means the social workers will still have parental guardianship.

The reflective essay has got to be about how I worked with the young person and the support I provided and my reflection upon this. Please refer to the professional capabilities framework (PCF) from British Association of Social Work (BASW) to link it with the domains and refer this within the essay for example after making a point that links to BASW write (PCF-Domain 1). The essay also needs to be referenced Harvard style using good journals/books/academic websites.

Pleas ensure all work is cited with a reference
