Description Data Analysis Task #1: This assignment focuses on the selection of data from the DESE or district. (Formative Assessment PSI1.a,1.f) This assignment has two parts:

Part 1  1. Your assignment is to review a table or a set of current data presented on the Commonwealth’s website and create a google slide presentation on your school or district data using information for the DESE school profile. You will be presenting your data in small groups virtually. (*I have attached the google slides with DATA ALREADY FOUND!!!)

Part 2  write no more than a two-page data analysis that includes the following information: 1)A brief description of the source of the data (how it was generated, who generated it, why it was generated) 2) An interpretation based on your efforts to synthesize the data presented, and potential use of the information based on the results.  Within this assignment, you must demonstrate that you have carefully reviewed the data, utilized additional resources as applicable (i.e. comparing and contrasting the school’s data against the state data), and reflected on the results. 3) Conclude the assignment with a set of recommended action steps that the school should take in response to these data.
