BACKGROUND:

 

The robot uprising is STILL upon us!!! As a member of an exclusive team of scientists you are assigned the task of proposing various possible solutions to dealing with this trying situation. Thankfully, armed with your commanding knowledge of flowchart, algorithmics and pseudo coding, you should be able to come up with multiple formal and well-designed step-by-step procedures to solve the myriad of challenges that the robot uprising world imposes on us all…

 

 

TASKS:

 

Complete all of the exercises and assignments administered in Module 3 (including those that you were assigned in your recitation sessions).

 

Choose a single problem that you think is most important to be solved. Propose a formal procedure to solve that problem. Think of your proposed solution in terms of sub-procedures, variables, repeatable steps
(i.e., loops), and other logical and algorithmic concepts we discussed so far in this course. Consider it from the standpoint of computational thinking and programming. For example, could your solution be written as a simulation to be performed by a computer, before the actual implementation in the “real world?”

 

Prepare a short presentation demonstrating your problem, and proposed solution( flowchart or pseudo code).

 

Finally, think about the approach you took to solving the problem. What were the main components of your proposed solution? What steps did you take to arrive at the appropriate result?

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR A SUCCESSFUL ASSIGNMENT COMPLETION:

 

To complete the assignment, you will have to work as a team. Communication and cooperation are essential!

 

Prepare a visual presentation (preferably in PowerPoint) for the rest of the class describing your implementation of the Module 3 mini-project.

 

You will present your work to the rest of the class as a team. Everybody will be required to participate in the presentation.

 

Make sure to answer the questions posed above in your presentation. Furthermore, you may also need to discuss the challenges or problems you might have encountered, if any, while completing this assignment.
