Max Weber theorized that “rationality” or “formal rationality” increasingly dominates modern society. Explain Weber’s concept of rationality by identifying and explaining its characteristics. Be sure to address why rationality is a necessary and “good” thing for modern societies, and also explain the problems that often arise from it.
