Nursing Burnout-related to nurse shortage [Ex. home health: demanding increased nursing obligations such as HCP leave nurse to figure out crucial interventions and care plans w/ no guidance also, safety risks such as needle sticks ; Surgery: Increased nurse duties [Ex. nurse accountable for surgery room and if things go wrong it’s nurse fault not a team issue, Both surgery department and home health department = nurse burnout =nurse shortage w/ high turnover rates (Both may go hand and hand)
