Explain how the patient, family, or population problem impacts the quality of care, patient safety, and costs to the system and individual.
In a 4-5 page written assessment, assess the effect of the patient, family, or population problem you’ve previously defined on the quality of care, patient safety, and costs to the system and individual. (THE CHOSEN PATIENT FOR THIS ASSIGNMENT IS A 30 YEAR OLD AFRICAN AMERICAN FEMALE PATIENT WHO HAS BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH DEPRESSION AT THE AGE OF 27. SHE CURRENTLY ATTENDS WEEKLY THERAPY SESSION AND IS CURRENTLY TAKING A DAILY PRESCIRBED MEDICATION CALLED PROZAC. THIS COMBINED TREATMENT HAS BEEN EFFECTIVE FOR HER FOR THE PAST 3 YEARS.)
