Your task is to offer an academic, detailed critique of a  peer-reviewed article that you locate in the CSU Online Library. The article must be related to workplace values and attitudes, as discussed in Chapter 2 of the course textbook (e.g., Schwartz’s value theory, cognitive dissonance, organizational commitment, employee engagement, job satisfaction).

In your critique, address the areas listed below.

· Identify the main points and arguments of the author(s). In doing so, you should explain organizational behavior as well as explore workplace attitudes and values.

· Support your opinion of the article with course-related terminology and in-text citations with corresponding references.

· Assess how the article relates to the public or nonprofit sector.

· Evaluate how the points or arguments of the author(s) can be applied to the public sector.

Your focus of this assignment is to collect your thoughts and opinions on the topic and relate them in an intelligent, critical fashion. This is represented by the second and third bullets above.

Your critique is to be a minimum of two pages in length and should be written in 12-point Times New Roman font using the third-person active voice. (Third person demonstrates objectivity and uses evidence to support claims. An active voice is one in which the subject of the sentence performs the action in the sentence.) Your critique must have appropriate APA Style (7th edition) formatting, use good academic writing standards, and maintain a scholarly or professional tone. Be sure to cite all borrowed, quoted, and paraphrased material appropriately using APA Style formatting.
