SUMMARY

I am a resourceful and dedicated high school student with excellent work ethic and problem-solving skills. Throughout my experience as a 2-year conference champion swimmer, a board member of one of the top Mock Trial teams in the state, a student and teacher for a total of 10 years at the Tarana Kathak Dance Academy, an executive member of the Sex Ed Initiative, and a leader at Economics for Leaders, I have developed and honed vital skills such as exceptional interpersonal communication, navigating and leading a team, troubleshooting, and time management. My participation in organizations such as the Sex Ed Initiative, Mock Trial, Economics for Leaders, and volunteering as a tutor for low-income and underprivileged students at Learn To Be also fostered the passion I have to major in political science and economics, as well as to work in government and foreign policy. In addition, time as a dancer has also given me an illustrious and creative mindset for the arts that bleeds into other aspects of my life as well, giving me a passionate connection to my culture and an artistically unique perspective on the challenges and projects I pursue in life.
