Discuss the rights granted by the New York State Consitution in Article I.

1. Understand the definition of federalism and its practical application to state and local government.
2. Be able to cite examples of cooperation and conflict between the federal and the state governments
3. Critique the present Coronavirus crisis in relation to the contradictions of federalism
4. Distinguish between the United States Constitution and the New York State Constitution, escpecially in regard to the Bill of Rights of each document.
5. Discuss the rights granted by the New York State Consitution in Article I.
6. Reflect on the additional rights in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and contemplate additions to the NYS Bill of Rights from the UDHR
