OVERVIEW In this assignment, you should discuss the concepts of leadership versus that of management. You should discuss the role of leadership and management within a public safety setting. Please compare the two concepts as they relate to public safety. Additionally, please discus which you feel is most critical to the success of a public safety organization and why. Please be sure to discuss leadership as a neutral process as well as a moral process. Finally, please discuss the concepts of assigned versus emergent leadership within the context of formal and informal leadership in a public safety setting.
