Introduction:
Electronic Health Records (EHRs) have revolutionized the clinical record keeping systems in physician’s offices. Before the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) started the incentive programs for EHR implementation, only 10% of the physicians used EHRs in their offices. Now, roughly 80% of the physician’s offices in the country are utilizing electronic media for clinical applications.
