Dr. Henry Walton Jones, Jr was asked to review an article entitled, “The Golden Idol: Insights into the Inca Empire.” for the Journal of Archaeological Research. The lead author of the paper is Dr. Rene Emile Belloq, a primary rival of Dr. Jones. Please provide your thoughts on the following scenarios (no more than a few sentences per question): 1. What types of conflict of interest might arise when someone is asked to review a paper or grant application?  2. Dr. Jones has been away from his office on travel for the past few weeks and does not have time to review the paper. Is it ever appropriate for a peer reviewer to give a paper to a graduate student for review? If so, how should the reviewer do so?

4. What are some of the challenges in the current peer-review process, in which the peer reviewer is anonymous but the author is known to the reviewer?

The final project submitted in Module Nine addressed the development of the technological innovation selected for the business case but did not explicitly address the deployment strategy. As you reflect on your new technological innovation, discuss factors that you consider most critical to the deployment of the new product.

The final project submitted in Module Nine addressed the development of the technological innovation selected for the business case but did not explicitly address the deployment strategy. As you reflect on your new technological innovation, discuss factors that you consider most critical to the deployment of the new product. In responding to your peers, discuss how your deployment strategy will address these factors.

Analyze project management processes for scheduling and sequencing work components. Appraise the process of determining the cost and relevant budget required for a project component. Evaluate systems for cost tracking and budget monitoring

Due Week 7 and worth 75 points
Note: This is the second of four assignments which, as a whole, will cover all aspects of the project life cycle relevant to your selected project.
Now, it is time to develop a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and project schedule for the project that you discussed in Assignment 1. This assignment requires you to:

Create a WBS for your project using the proper format (MS Word, MS Excel, Visio, or any other applicable format) to depict WBS graphically (see Figure 4.1 from Chapter 4 of the Gedo textbook). Alternatively, you may use a coded format using MS Word (see Figure 4.3 from Chapter 4 of the Gido textbook as an example). The example is in MS Project format but the same could be done in MS Excel.
Create a project schedule that lists all of the core activities, dates (start and finish), and resources to complete your project. While it is recommended that you use MS Project, you can use MS Excel to create your schedule. Your project schedule must contain at least 30 separate activities/tasks.

The specific course learning outcomes associated with this assignment are:

Analyze project management processes for scheduling and sequencing work components.
Appraise the process of determining the cost and relevant budget required for a project component.
Evaluate systems for cost tracking and budget monitoring

Tasks
Create a summary report to management that answers the following questions to satisfy the key points of interest regarding the addition of Active Directory to the network:
1. System administrators currently create users on each computer where users need access. In Active Directory, where will system administrators create users?
2. How will the procedures for making changes to the user accounts, such as password changes, be different in Active Directory?
3. What action should administrators take for the existing workgroup user accounts after converting to Active Directory?
4. How will the administrators resolve differences between user accounts defined on different computers? In other words, if user accounts have different settings on different computers, how will Active Directory address that issue? (Hint: Consider security identifiers [SIDs].)

Write a policy brief on a current issue in environmental policy within the geography of Oklahoma.
The goal of this assignment is to apply topics raised in class to a current policy debate and to communicate these issues to a broader audience.  Think of this as a document prepared by a think tank or advocacy group designed to inform the public about a current policy issue.
The brief should be professionally presented, include figures and/or graphs when appropriate, and be suitable for posting on the web site of an environmental organization.
Use the resources from the policy writing link and the pdf of policy writing guide.
Use the same topic that your presentation covers. A more specific topic can be the focus depending on how general your presentation is. Ie. If your presentation topic was the Clean Air Act, then you could write a policy brief over the regulation of SOx in Oklahoma.
