How can employers prevent cultural barriers, discrimination, and biases in the workplace? How is your response similar or different from your peers’ responses?

In your own words, answer this unit’s discussion questions in a main post (recommended minimum 300 words), and respond to at least 2 peers’ postings (). Failure to employ strategies focused on attracting diverse candidate limits diversity in the workplace and could lead to possible legal problems.Reflect on the Equal Employment Opportunity Act and the protected classes it covers in the workplace. Discuss the following:Select 2 protected classes, and explain the need for them to be protected. How can employers prevent cultural barriers, discrimination, and biases in the workplace? How is your response similar or different from your peers’ responses?Protected classes are groups of people that have previously suffered from discriminatory events that are now managed and entered into a systemic anti-discrimination law set by the EEOC due to basis on these individual’s traits. Two examples of protected classes are Race, and gender. These two have historically been known for being segregated in the work industry. In the past people of different color were not allowed to mix with whites. In order to offer equal opportunity in both applying and getting promoted once on a job regardless of their personal traits people of protected classes were entered in this category. In today’s society we are seeing more of inequality in pay in regards to gender traits. Where males get paid more than females even when each sex has the same job position and duties. Thus, it is important to consider these protected classes due to seeing inequality or discrimination keep on in certain areas over the years of work experience and it is now illegal to do so.Therefore, employers can prevent cultural barriers, discrimination, and biases in the workplace by creating a non-discriminatory policy and procedure process in the business. First by training and educating the recruiters then the rest of the employees on how to identify bias behavior in order to avoid stereotyping or giving the other person the perception that they do not belong. By creating an overall dimension of diversity and inclusion thereafter, an organization can help everyone work together for a better company culture of unity and equality in all aspects of an organization.”The EEOC defines systemic cases as “pattern or practice, policy and/or class cases where the discrimination has a broad impact on an industry, profession, company or geographic location.” (EEOC.gov, 2023). In short, by having systems in place each business would ensure no patterns of such discriminating behaviors are in the work environment. By creating these standards in the practice and entirety of an organization professionalism will enforce the law of equal employment opportunities. If rules and regulations are not followed, each individual can then receive re-direction or violation, thus saving the organization from lawsuit for not correcting these decisions.EEOC.gov. 2023. Systemic Enforcement at the EEOC. “What is Systemic?” First sentence. USA.gov The two protected classes in the workplace are a work-related and a personal one. These two types of protected classes are not only important for a company but also problems. If you have been working with a protected class for more than 10 years, then it is for employees. They are the ones that protect your business from lawsuits and other legal problems. There are many reasons why an employee should be protected from lawsuits and legal problems. They include: 1. Protection against retaliation by employers who don’t want to sue their employees for damages issues. If you have been working with a protected class for more than 10 years, then it is important for you to know what type of protected class is best suited for your business. The need for both of the classes to be protected are corporations is growing. This means that companies must consider whether they can afford to hire a C level executive to handle the lawsuits. 2. Protection against discrimination in employment when a company has an unfair. Advantages of the two protected classes in the work place employment act, which protects workers from discrimination based on race, color or national origin. The protection against discrimination act protects employees from being discriminated because of their race, sex or religion. Employers should also protect employees from having to pay out-of-pocket costs for discrimination. This includes health insurance, disability benefits and retirement plans. Employers prevent cultural barriers, discrimination and biases in workplace by in employment by providing training and education to help them understand the workplace rules. Employees are encouraged to learn about the workplace rules and regulations that apply to their job. The employee is required to have a written contract with the employer stating what they will do if an employee get fired. These contracts include: Termination notice of dismissal, severance packages and other forms of compensation.

Thinking about the goals and objectives of public health as a discipline, you will write an essay in which you will present and substantiate a position regarding the ideal U.S. healthcare system. Justification must be based on the evaluation of the strengths and weaknesses of the structure, organization, regulation, financing, etc. of the U.S. healthcare system in comparison to the healthcare systems of other countries. This essay should not be a summary of healthcare systems, but an argument for a future healthcare system in the U.S. accompanied by an analysis that exhibits an understanding of the current systems and the identification of similarities/differences and strengths/weaknesses of each.

Describe some of the common computer- or network-related activity areas that companies monitor, and the legal or privacy issues associated with that monitoring.

I need 8 clear and quality references per part.  Part 1 I need 4 references & part 2 I need 4 references.
These references need to be current and website based with an author who is current (2008-2018).
I need to be able to go to a website and see that actual work.
Hints these are current subject related cited references.
No ebooks.
No google books
No paid sites for access.
No make believe books.
****Must be current and visible references*****
Will not accept anything but true references.
References mean the world to me and they should to you if you want to accept my money.
Again all references must be cited!!!!!! All references must be made clear and precise websites I can go and look up the information.
I need actual articles!!! Articles and authors I can references and read about the topic! Please do not submit to me a reference page that does not reference actual authors and actual websites with valuable information.
No google books or Wiki. I need media articles to references and see. Please understand this requirement.
Also this needs to follow APA style and be in 12 Times.
Also I just need the document in a clear well written single spaced. I will do the editing no need to send cover page or double space. I will do that through my review.
Thank you and see the topics below that need addressed.

Part 1

Workplace monitoring is a topic that many people have very different opinions about, as it affects workplace productivity, privacy, human resource management, and other issues.

Describe some of the common computer- or network-related activity areas that companies monitor, and the legal or privacy issues associated with that monitoring.

Choose the computer or network-related activity that you believe is most challenging to monitor from an employer perspective, and describe why.

Part 2

Describe the rule-making process, how agencies become involved in the rule-making process, and how other people can become involved in the rule-making process.

Determine if you believe that this rule-making process is effective or if it takes too long to implement new rules and regulations. Discuss whether or not this strengthens the American Legal System.

Study Validity
Validity is a critical element in quantitative research, and it determines how meaningful the results turn out. Validity refers to the accurateness of the methods and tools used to measure the research variables (Polit & Beck, 2017). The tools need to measure what the research intends to measure to ensure the validity of the study. The characteristics and qualities needed in research tools are reflected within the six types of validity.
First, construct validity is concerned with the tools’ ability to measure the intended study elements. This forms the basis for establishing overall study validity. The second type is content validity, which assesses whether the tools fully represent the elements to be measured (Polit & Beck, 2017). Research tools must cover all the relevant aspects intended to be measured exhaustively.
The third one is face validity, which tests whether the design of the tools used is suitable for the aims of the research. In other words, the questions must capture the intended aim. The fourth characteristic is presented within criterion validity. The correlation between elements in the tools used in a study makes criterion validity (Patten, & Newhart, 2017). The different questions used should point out the aspect being tested.
Next, we have discriminant validity, which for it to be established, study measures that are not supposed to be related should remain unrelated in all respects. Correlations between dissimilar measure aspects should be as low as possible (Polit & Beck, 2017).  Lastly, there is the convergent validity where measures that are intended to relate should reflect the same. The test here is on the degree of convergence. According to Mohaj (2017), theoretically similar study measures should have similarities.

As you think about your own levels of activity, what does the pyramid look like in your life right now? What are some areas of strength and what are some areas for growth? When considering areas of growth, what may be some of the most significant barriers, obstacles, or challenges that may prevent you from experiencing the change you wish to see?
