You will choose a nursing theorist that you would like to learn more about. The paper you will write will be about the theorist and the theory. Give an overview of the theorist to include components such as where they are from, what their education involved, areas of practice, and when they wrote the theory. Has the theory been revised? You can feel free to add any other pertinent information that you would like. (4 points). Do not need to follow the “4 points, 4 paragraph” rule for this assignment. Describe the theory and how it applies to nursing practice. (4 points) Discuss the major concepts, definitions, and assumptions of the theory. (3 points) Do you believe this theory applies to current practice and why or why not? (1 point)

With my feed of study it can be a lot to handle, between catching bad guys and stopping crime whether it be heinous crimes that deal with significant violence or just assault and battery this can all be a lot of work. I noticed though after going each week in this course that a mixture of qualitative as well as mixed methods methodology has a lot to do with my field of study whether it be one on one interview or the collecting of data which could be evidence to the crime being investigated there was always one of these methodologies involved with the criminal justice field. I would have to say though that the main one that would be used would be most likely the qualitative methodology as there is a lot of interviewing that takes place in this field, whether it being interviewing someone for a job, or interviewing someone for a crime they may have done, and even the interviewing of a witness that seen a crime either way one on one interview or informational interviews get explained a lot.  Then, choose two peers who are studying a social science field different from yours. As you review your peers’ initial posts, answer at least two of the following questions as you compare patterns of methodology choices in their social science and yours: Do you see other limits in their social science that they did not identify? What might the impact of those limits be? How do the methodology and data types preferred by their social science compare to those preferred by yours? Are there overlaps? Major differences?

Hello fellow classmates and instructor,
With my feed of study it can be a lot to handle, between catching bad guys and stopping crime whether it be heinous crimes that deal with significant violence or just assault and battery this can all be a lot of work.
As you review your peers’ initial posts, answer at least two of the following questions as you compare patterns of methodology choices in their social science and yours:

Do you see other limits in their social science that they did not identify?
What might the impact of those limits be?
How do the methodology and data types preferred by their social science compare to those preferred by yours? Are there overlaps? Major differences?
What do you see as the impact of these preferences, and is there something that could be gained in their social science if they were to embrace some of the methodologies and data types used by your social science?

Based on what you have learned in Chapter 10, what one action can you take to improve the benefit(s) you receive from close relationships?

Q1. Based on what you have learned in Chapter 10, what one action can you take to improve the benefit(s) you receive from close relationships? Provide an explanation.
Q2. Based upon action you have identified in Q1, what benefits might you expect should you master the action identified? What consequences might you expect if you do not engage in the action identified in Q1?
Write at least for each question. Your response should reflect a thoughtful reflection that is personal to you and also integrates the text concepts and vocabulary. A minimum of (1) one vocabulary word or more is required to support your response per question and bold the vocabulary as well.

Hassan’s story was one of triumph, but unfortunately, not the norm. What are some of the differences between Hassan’s story and stories you hear of those that do not make it after leaving prison? Do you agree with the idea of asking potential hires if they have been convicted of a felony? How can community corrections and indeterminate sanctions help reduce the prison population?

G.J. is a 71-year-old overweight woman who presents to the Family Practice Clinic for the first time complaining of a long history of bilateral knee discomfort that becomes worse when it rains and usually feels better when the weather is warm and dry. “My arthritis hasn’t improved a bit this summer though,” she states. Discomfort in the left knee is greater than in the right knee. She has also suffered from low back pain for many years, but recently it has become worse. She is having difficulty using the stairs in her home. The patient had recently visited a rheumatologist who tried a variety of NSAIDs to help her with pain control. The medications gave her mild relief but also caused significant and intolerable stomach discomfort. Her pain was alleviated with oxycodone. However, when she showed increasing tolerance and began insisting on higher doses of the medication, the physician told her that she may need surgery and that he could not prescribe more oxycodone for her. She is now seeking medical care at the Family Practice Clinic. Her knees started to get significantly more painful after she gained 20 pounds during the past nine months. Her joints are most stiff when she has been sitting or lying for some time and they tend to “loosen up” with activity. The patient has always been worried about osteoporosis because several family members have been diagnosed with the disease. However, nonclinical manifestations of osteoporosis have developed. Case Study Questions Define osteoarthritis and explain the differences with osteoarthrosis. List and analyze the risk factors that are presented on the case that contribute to the diagnosis of osteoarthritis.

legally.

and establish fruitful customer relationships.

and on occasion, seeking external assistance or guidance. Every company has a unique
journey, and distinct obstacles could emerge based on the sector, location, and style of
operation.

Discuss what you would assess in regard to a client’s culture. For example, are there specific dietary requirements? Are schedule changes necessary to avoid conflicts with religious practices? Who is the spokesperson for the family? What would you assess?

Implementation: What are interventions that would ensure the safety of your client in regard to culture? Include at least two interventions. For example, if your client has religious beliefs that affect the ability to take medications, what interventions would you create to ensure the client’s safety? What can you do to make sure the client’s cultural needs are met?
Evaluation: How will you evaluate whether your implementation was effective? Make sure the parameters are objective and measurable.
In your summary, discuss whether any completed interventions were successful. What could be done differently in the future? If the interventions have not yet been carried out, you might discuss some institutional changes that could be made to ensure cultural safety for all clients in that setting.

If managers could have just one wish, many would ask for a crystal ball. With this tool, there would never be any worry about risk. The manager could look into the crystal ball and know exactly what will happen with each decision. Unfortunately, we do not have this luxury and must use other tools and techniques to determine the risks we face for the decisions we make. Understanding the financial risks will be the focus of this week’s discussion question. In what ways do you believe the trade-off of Risk-Return might influence organization and individual investment decisions?
