APUS Sustainable Intermodal Logistics Improvement Research Paper

Instructions: You will need to submit research paper topic for approval by no later than the end of third week. You have considerable freedom in choosing a topic. The requirement is that you choose a topic that requires academic research not business research and that you submit both your paper topic (which should not contain question) and a full paragraph statement, that statement must contain a research question to be answered or a hypothesis to be tested. Most “why” questions focus more on workplace related issues and business not academic or scholarly research so they seldom are acceptable questions for scholarly research. The research paper should be a minimum of six typed pages and formatted in accordance with APA. Topics should be relavent to intermodal transportation. The nature of a research paper is to prove or disprove a thesis or hypothesis, not simply produce a report or provide information on topic. For example; a topic may be the impact of security on intermodal transportation. The associated thesis could be; actions taken to improve the security at ports has negatively impacted throughput, increasing costs and reducing the quality of operations. The research and body of the paper argues to prove the thesis statement.

ASCC Theatre and Culture Reflective Essay

The reflective essay must respond to the following: ( I attached the performance response1 and one of the discussion posts) What have you learned this semester (in relation to the learning outcomes on the syllabus) and why and how do the pieces of evidence you’ve chosen demonstrate that? What did you do or not do that helped or hindered your learning during the semester? How do you think you will use what you’ve learned in the future? In the reflective essay, your task is to demonstrate which of the learning outcomes for the course you have achieved. You illustrate this achievement by writing a well-formed essay that cites evidence from your coursework (you must include the performance response and one discussion posting as pieces of evidence; other evidence can be from other postings, module exercises, your other short response, quizzes, and so on). Remember: you must use the evidence to support your argument. Do not just say, “You can see I have achieved learning outcome number 1 by looking at my first performance response.” You have to say something like, “You can see from performance response 1, where I say this that, and the other thing, that I demonstrate my achievement of learning outcome number 1.” You can also demonstrate your achievement of a learning outcome by explaining how you would do something different now from when you first did it (for example, “Although in my discussion posting on non-Western theatre, I wrote x, y, and z, I would now change that to a, b, and c, which clearly shows that I have achieved learning outcome 1.”

Social Media Campaign Reflection

reflect on your experiences of creating your social media campaign to strengthen your critical and creative approaches for future work in the field. To approach this reflection, you will read de Bono’s article on ‘Six Hats’ and consider how some of these were applicable in your experience. For example, if you put on the green hat, what were the aspects of your work that had the most potential? If you put on the black hat, which aspects of your work needed further development. The de Bono text equips with a language for critiquing your input throughout the semester, beyond ‘this was good, that was bad’. While you are free to comment openly about your experience, this should be thought of as a reflection that engages critical language to help you improve your project management skills.

SPCH 1311 Lone Star College Effective Communication and Listening Questions

Part 1: After watching the lecture and completing the reading assignments for non-verbal communication -discuss what you found to be the most interesting aspects of non-verbal communication we discussed. What didyou learn? Will you view your own non-verbals differently in the future?Part 2: How has Covid19, and wearing a mask, impacted your ability to interpret the non-verbalcommunications of others? For instance, I was at Home Depot returning an item from a home project I’mworking on. I smiled at the sales associate, but her “tone” wasn’t as friendly as I was expecting. I thought tomyself… HOW RUDE… but then realized, she couldn’t actually see me smile – therefore my smiling did nothingto demonstrate friendliness. It was a powerful reminder of how we utilize non-verbals in our interactions withothers. Have you had a similar experience?Receive an extra 2 points for ending your reflection with how I learned an important lesson about non-verbalcommunication in my life as a graduate student. Part 1: After watching the lecture on listening, and after taking the listening assessment -reflect on thefollowing questions:• Do you know someone who is a good listener? How do you know?• What do you think about people in your life who are good listeners? Who are bad listeners? Do youtreat them/and your relationships differently?• Can you reflect on a time when you weren’t a good listener and how it impacted your life in animportant way?Using tips from the lecture, explain the ways in which you can improve your listening skills in the future. You may choose to complete this as either a written assignment OR you can record and submit a videodiscussing your answers to these questions. If you choose to submit a video, make sure you give sufficientexamples, citing information in the lectures – to demonstrate you’ve read the assigned material and watched thelectures. Submit to the assigned Dropbox. If submitting a video, please upload the video to YouTube andsubmit the link using the same techniques used when submitting your welcome to the class videos.

Value Chain Analysis at KFC Discussion

Read and reflect on the assigned readings for the week.In Learning from Mistakes at the beginning of the chapter, we saw how KFC became too focused on cutting cost in their supply chain, and how it hampered their ability to serve customers effectively. Imagine you were advising KFC on how they need to emphasize the customer orientation of every link in their value chain. To support this, lay out the key links in KFC’s value chain and evaluate how each step is critical to creating customer value.

UofT Oppositional Defiant Disorder and Conduct Disorder in Childhood Responses

For your initial post:Paragraph 1:Write a paragraph from your response (not the introduction) that includes a source that supports your position. This source should be from the Keiser University Library. You may paraphrase or directly quote the source. Use an APA citation. Include an APA reference at the end of the post. The paragraph should be 5-7 sentences. This will likely be the sixth paragraph from your Week 2 outline. Review a Example Example – Alternative Formats of what this paragraph might look like.Paragraph 2:In a second paragraph, describe your research methodology. What search term did you use? What was the biggest challenge? What worked well? What did you learn for future research studies?first post For this week’s discussion I chose to pick another source that supported my position a lot better. This article is called “The uncomfortable truth about how we view working women, in one simple google search” by Danielle Paquette. In this article Paquette explains how when you do a simple Google search of CEO’s women are rarely shown. Danielle Paquette proves that when she states “Search “CEO” on Google images and the first woman to appear after dozens of men is likely plastic. Barbie trumps even Yahoo’s Marissa Mayer on the Internet’s symbolic ranking of female success”. The stereotypes are very obvious when scrolling through images and the first one you see of a woman happens to be an oversexualized photo surrounded by photos of men in suits looking professional. Paquette really emphasizes “The misrepresentation problem could hurt real women’s chances in job interviews”, this comes to show that even in the workplace the representation of women is predominantly based on physical attributes. While searching for a better article my biggest challenge was finding one that actually focused on how women are misrepresented and not men. The terms I used to search for my articles were “Representation of women”, “Media and how it views women”. What worked for me was going through multiple articles and trying to find some that resonate with my essay and not something that goes off topic too much. What I learned that can help me in the future is trying to broaden up the words I use to help me get some more articles that have something to do with my topic. Another thing I learned that can be useful is using the highlighting tool to allow me to highlight important quotes I can use to strengthen my essay. This is called “herd immunity.”This article talks about the necessity and benefits of people’s vaccination. It emphasizes that being vaccinated not only safeguards us against viruses, but also shields those around us. This is particularly significant for those who cannot receive vaccinations due to health conditions, as they can benefit from the protection of others who are vaccinated. Therefore, it is imperative that everyone gets vaccinated to ensure the safety of the entire community.Postmedia Network Inc. (2020, July 4). Library Information Resources Network: Proquest. LIRN.
