Evidence in Nursing Discussion

Please respond with a paragraph to the following question, add citations and references:There are several different methods available to evaluate evidence in nursing. I would choose to use a systemic review and a meta-analysis. They both gives results by using and combining data from studies on similar research topics. The meta-analysis is a system that uses statistic methods for summarizing outcomes of the study. A meta-analysis is a valid, objective and scientific method of analyzing and combining different results (Ahn & Kang, 2018). When the effect of the treatment is accurate and is consistent from one study to another, then the meta -analysis could used to identify common impacts. I would consider meta-analysis to be a very powerful sources in evidence evaluation. However, some results could be misleading due to violations of creating a sound meta-analysis.A systemic review provides answers to research questions which is well defined by a collection and summary pf information (Ahn & Kang, 2018). Systemic reviews assist in identifying, assessing and summarizing the findings of all individual studies which are relevant about medical problems, thus creating the evidence available as more accessible towards the decision makers. The limitations of systemic reviews are that it needs a team and it needs enough data for arriving at conclusions. If one has a lack of understanding about systemic reviews and meta-analyses, it can lead to incorrect outcomes. Its easy to confuse the two methods listed: A systemic review is an objective, reproducible method to find answers to research questions. This is done by collecting studies related to the question, reviewing and analyzing their results. The meta-analysis uses statistical methods on estimates from two or more studies to form an estimate. When performing both methods, if the quality of the studies are not properly evaluated then then results can be biased and the outcomes can be incorrect.Reference:Ahn, E., & Kang, H. (2018). The case-brief should be written in a business scholarly tone, include at least 4 scholarly references which . The answer should be HBR case study Coca-Cola in 2011: In Search of a New Model.
Here is the case synopsis:
Case Synopsis: Muhtar Kent, CEO of the Coca-Cola Company, faced a critical decision in 2011 after closing a $12 billion deal to buy its troubled North America bottling operations from its biggest bottler, Coca-Cola Enterprises. The decision was prompted by several changes in the U.S. market, including the bottler’s inability to make crucial investments, the growth of alternative, non-sparkling drinks, and the growing power of national accounts, such as Wal-Mart. Now that Coke owned most of its North American bottling network, Kent had to decide whether keeping the labor and capital-intensive side of the bottling business was in Coke’s long-term strategic interest. If not, should he re-franchise the bottling business, again, as Coke had done in the past? Or was there a third path? For one of the most successful companies in the world over the last 100 years, Kent’s answers to these questions had the potential to redefine Coke’s business model for the next century.

SCI 207 AU Dependence upon Environment Nature Experience Discussion

I’m studying and need help with a Environmental Science question to help me learn. Find a place outside where you can be in nature for at least 30 mins. This could be a national, state, or local park, a city square with trees and gardens, an old cemetery, or even your own backyard. Once you are outdoors, choose a comfortable spot where you can stand or sit quietly for at least 30 mins of uninterrupted solitude. What do you notice? Use your senses of sight, hearing, smell, and feeling to take the world in. Come back inside and write about your nature experience. It should include both what you directly experienced during your time outdoors and your feelings and reflections on the experience itself. In your writing, consider this question: Are human beings a part of nature, or apart from it? Choose a creative means of sharing your nature experience, and what you learned from it. This could take the form of any of the following: a series of photographs with captions, a poem, a song, a brief personal essay, a work of art, the design for a board game, a video of some kind, or any other creative avenue you can think of.If your work is entirely visual or auditory (e.g., fine art, photography, music, etc.), please include a brief statement that (1) relates your work back to your original nature experience; and (2) relates your work to the question of whether you feel you are a part of nature or apart from it

War on Terrorism Questions

1.1.  Evaluate Jeffrey Record’s basic argument in Bounding the War on Terrorism. Is he correct or not? Why or why not?2.2.  In a news item during the Bush administration, a reporter for the New York Times noted that, “From the very start of the American occupation of Iraq, at least some in the Bush administration saw an opportunity to curtail the influence of Iran’s radical Shiite leaders by producing an alternative, moderate center of Shiite Islam that would effectively neuter Tehran in ideological, political and strategic terms. This was abundantly clear to Iran’s clerical rulers, whose paramount priority since they seized power in 1979 has been to preserve their revolution and their grip on their own country.”  Has this aspiration by some Bush policy-makers proven true or has some other reality developed? What does this observation say about the nature of war?3.  Does the U.S. Face a Future of Never-ending Sub-national & Trans-national Violence?, Thomas Barnett states that: The post-Cold War era has witnessed an amazing “downshifting” of the source of threats to global stability. In this short span of history, the world has moved from an era in which global nuclear war was the dominant threat, through a transitional era in which it seemed that regional rogues would become the primary source of system instability, to one in which it is increasingly recognized that trans-national or non-state actors will constitute the main source of violence – sometimes of a mass nature – that has the capacity to perturb, even in a significant fashion, the functioning of the global economy. In effect, America’s definition of the threat has de-escalated from an “evil empire” to “evil regimes” to “evil actors.” What are the implications for American strategic planning based on Barnett’s assessment of the global threat environment? A proper response will include examples and references from the assigned readings in this course.4.  In his assessment of the Israeli-Hezbollah War, Anthony Cordesman provided some preliminary lessons learned from that conflict. Demonstrate how a parallel can be drawn between the Israeli-Hezbollah case and that of the United States and Al Qaeda. Discuss the implications of this assessment for the “global war on terror.”
