Purpose

The Phoenix Project
This assignment is based on a case study of how a cyber attack was handled by a major public research university, the University of Virginia. As you read this case, think about ways that the institution contained and managed the risk given all the research intellectual property that it possessed, and the associated risks with losing such data, stakeholder management, best practices, communication approach and the overall coordination of the different aspects of its response strategy.
Overview
Read the case The Phoenix Project: Remediation of a Cybersecurity Crisis at the University of Virginia. Given your knowledge of the Phoenix case, write a paper that addresses the following:
· Classify the institution’s risk response plan. Was it avoid, accept, reduce/control, or transfer? Explain and justify your classification choice.
· Which prioritization option should the institution choose and why? Prioritization options to consider include quick wins, business cases and deferrals. Explain and justify your choice.
· When you evaluate risk response options, make sure to address specific options relevant to a major public research University, in other words look at risk from an educational context.

Weekly Outcome: Be able to synthesize the forces in the U.S. Healthcare system that shape healthcare policies.
Identify and briefly discuss one sociopolitical issue that is currently impacting health and / or health care in America. Identify at least two forces that you believe nurses and nurse practitioners can use to influence health policy for the identified issue and defend your use of those forces. Use evidence based information to support your responses.

Most literature, including film and television scripts, attempts to affect the attitudes of the characters in the story as well as the attitudes of the audience. In this way, popular culture attempts to affect the attitudes of society as a whole, starting at an early age. Some attempts are successful, while others fail to change attitude, even if the story is enjoyable. Argument seeks to change attitude, and in some cases behavior. Potentially, popular culture conditions the audience to be more susceptible to attitude affect, meaning that if we, as arguers, can follow a script for changing attitudes, we can be better arguers.
For this activity, complete the following:
Pick a book or movie that tells an entire story. Do not use content that is made for television.
Using that story, write a short paper that addresses the following:
Identify and discuss the predominant attitude of the protagonist concerning the storyline in the beginning of the story. For example, if I chose Cinderella (in any iteration), the attitude might be that life is hard and you have to make the best of it, even though it isn’t fair. Once you identify the attitude, discuss how that attitude was formed and what behaviors manifest as a result of the attitude.
Describe which plot element pushes the protagonist out of their salient attitude, creating cognitive dissonance. Analyze any value conflict this creates. Explain how these value conflicts impact the behaviors of the protagonist.
Evaluate the strategy the protagonist chooses to employ to shift their dissonance to salience. Be specific, using examples from the literature, to discuss how their behaviors are directed by these strategies.
Identify and analyze how the plot and story attempt to affect the attitude of the audience (change, reinforcement, shaping). Explain how this happens.
Evaluate whether the attitude affect is successful for both the protagonist and the audience.
