Directions: Use this sheet (and the back, if necessary) to write a three paragraph essay (with an intro, body, and conclusion) that answers the following questions: What are civil rights? Why are civil rights important? What is the (summarized) history of civil rights in this country?
Review Problem 6.34 in your textbook. Using the questions provided as a guide, explain how you think the performance report presented may impact the company. Discuss three weaknesses that are different than what your classmates’ posted, or provide a different explanation as to why the item poses a weakness.
1- Discuss business ethics based on the relationship between ethics and morality. Are these two concept the same? Explain.
2- Explore the public’s view of business ethics as a contradiction in terms. Is there really ethics in business? Do people believe this? Provide examples. Can you find data of public polls to support your opinion?
Be sure to support your statements with logic and argument, citing all sources referenced. Post your initial response early and check back often to continue the discussion. Be sure to respond to your peers’ posts as well.

Addiction is labelled as a disease. What are some characteristics of drugs that make them so addictive? Are certain methods of consumption (oral, inhalation, injection) more dangerous than others?
Choose a theory from chapter 5 that you feel most sufficiently explains addiction. Why do you feel this theory is the best?

Identify any historical purpose(s) behind the writing of Mark’s and Matthew’s Gospels. Include a reference to any historical factor mentioned in the recommended sources that may have triggered the writing of both Matthew’s and Mark’s Gospels as well as references to statements within both of the Gospels themselves. Last week, we discussed various short term sales promotions – some of which were from retailers and others that were direct from the manufacturer or service provider. This week, we will expand on other digital marketing efforts companies use to communicate and build lasting customer relationships…with a twist.
Your objective this week is to identify a company that has faced a crisis within the past ten years (and one that has not yet been addressed by one of your peers). Need some ideas…check out Dan Cobley’s TED talk Links to an external site.which discusses three brands that faced crisis situations whereby “one bad week can undermine decades of good work” (Cobley, 2010, 4:40-5:50).
In your initial post, describe the direct and digital marketing tactics the brand uses to tailor offers and content to the needs and interests to defined segments or individual buyers to build customer relationships, a brand community, and/or sales.
Examine and summarize the crisis situation. How did the organization handle the crisis using online marketing channels?
Hindsight is 20-20. Was the crisis response and communication effective? Compare and contrast alternative digital communication efforts and provide alternative recommendations.
