Laughter is in the air: involvement of key nodes of the emotional motor system in the anticipation of tickling

Critically evaluate the paper by Wattendorf provided below. Comment on the paper’s strengths and weaknesses, and discuss theoretical and practical implications of the paper.

fMRI was used in this study , hence it’s lecture slide has been attached

When describing the strengths of a study, it is difficult to say what impact these have had on the results, although you should still explain why these points are important for the research. It is essential to explain how the study weaknesses might have an impact on the results. Theoretical implications are more likely to relate to the topic of the paper, rather than the methods used. all relevant theories should be introduced in the paper. To find more detailed information about these theories, you can use the reference list at the end of each paper to find the original source which described it.

How promising is research into the motor signs of autism for improving diagnosis and intervention efforts

Describe autism and its motor signs and impairments. then provide proof of multiple researches into the motor signs of autism. then argue how promising the research into the motor signs of autism for improving diagnosis and intervention efforts is. Discuss how at least two major findings improve our understanding of ASD. Please make the essay coherent and have a clear line of argument. Do not be too descriptive. the lecture slides for autism and intervention have been provided !! also go through the extra pdfs and do extensive research if possible.

Gravity is a real force of nature

Imagine someone who believes gravity is not a real force of nature. Write paragraphs explaining to this person that gravity is a real force of nature. Assignment must demonstrate an understanding of the following concepts: scientific explanation, theory, and the scientific method (observation, experiment, and measurement).

list the premises (the reasons why gravity exists).

Adlerian Theory

You will take a deep dive into the individual psychology of Alfred Adler (Adlerian). Although there are other psychodynamic approaches, Adlerian offers a foundation in family dynamics while honoring the individual’s experiences using birth order/familial dynamics and early recollections as part of the individual’s present issues.

Crafting of the U.S Constitution

This is a discussion post to a reading assignment for my Political Science class. If references are used ensure your sources are from scholarly sources such as academic journals, books, reports, or other scholarly publications. Information from blogs, questionable websites or Wikipedia are not acceptable.

Discussion Question:

Chapter 2 Discussion

Of all the issues and conflicts that surrounded the crafting of the U.S. Constitution, which do you think was the most important to resolve? In other words, if you were a delegate to the Constitutional Convention, on which issue would you take a position and speak? Why?

Q1. Consider a Discrete Logistic stock recruitment relationship,
Rt+1 = rRt(1 − Rt/k), (1)
where Rt
is recruit biomass at time t.
(a) Define a function in R that takes the current recruit size and the parameters
r and k and outputs the recruit biomass in the next time step.
Here is an example of how to write a function in R:
WeightedSum = function(x, y, w){
#weighted sum of x and y with weight w
wSum = w*x + (1-w)*y
return(wSum)
}
(b) Define a vector of R values from 0 to 100 with with increment 1. There are
several ways to do this. You can use the function in R called seq, or ‘:’. To
get help using a function in R type ‘?’ before the function name, for example
?seq. If you are using the RStudio text editor, a help file will appear on
the right explaining how to use the function. Now what if you don’t know
an increment width, but you know you want 250 values for R between 0 and
20. Use seq to generate this vector.
(c) Use your function in (a) and your vector in (b) to plot the recruitment
function evaluated at all values in your R vector (This is a plot of Rt+1
against Rt). Label the axes of your plot. Make the plot a smooth curve
rather than dots. You will need to include arguments in plot such as xlab
= “Rt”, and type = “l”. Let r = 1.5 and k = 100.
(d) Plot Population size Rt vs t for r = 1.5 and k = 100 for 25 time steps, and
an initial population size of 10 individuals. You will need to use a for loop
to do this.
Here is an example of a for loop which prints out the numbers 1 through
10 in the terminal
1
for(i in 1:10){
print(i)
}
(e) Generate an orbit diagram for this discrete time version of the logistic equation. In other words plot Rt
, for all t ∈ [1, 000 , 1, 500], vs. r, from r = 2.5
to r = 4. Think about this plot. What does it mean? Is it problematic for a
manager. Why would a manager might not want to use this model for large
values of r.

Principles of Marketing – Marketing Plan

You are a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) recently hired to develop a new product line or brand extension for a company’s product/brand (Note: students choose the company and brand/product). Based on the company’s mission and goals, status in the market, current target market(s), and brand power, you will develop a Marketing Plan for the new product/brand extension.

The organization you choose needs to be a publicly-traded company, thus allowing you to gain access to its financial data and market performance. It cannot be a privately-owned company, nor a start-up. The new product or brand should relate to the company’s mission and target market(s), or to a lucrative new market segment. The decision is yours!

This is a RESEARCH based paper comprised of the following sections.

* Industry / Competitive Analysis – This is ALL research based on your industry

* Brand Analysis – This is research on the company/brand

* SWOT / Brand Analysis – This is also research based in terms of opportunties and threats in the marketplace

*Based on the above sections, you should be able to put together well composed SWOT analysis.

* Industry Analysis – This is the over-arching umbrella industry you are operating in (ex. fashion, hotel, automotive, eye wear, footwear, sunscreen, airlines)

*Total sales

*Total revenue

*Market leaders

*Market share for each

*Growth potential or trends

* Brand Analysis – This is the brand you choose to be a part of (should be one of the market leaders you mentioned above)

*Total sales

*Product mix

*Product line depth and width

*Competitive advantage

*What’s their cash cow and SBUs

*Growth strategy (market penetration, product

development, market development)

*SWOT Analysis – can be bullets – should be easy to find for most large companies

*Strengths (company controlled)

*Weaknesses (company controlled)

*Opportunities (in the external environment) (sourced)

*Threats (in the external environment) (sourced)
