Write a 7-10 page research paper on the topic of performance management and training for an organization of your choice.

Description Write a 7-10 page research paper on the topic of performance management and training for an organization of your choice. Research the topic of performance management and training for an organization of your choice. Performance management includes the supervision of employees and ongoing goal setting, training, and measurement to meet individual and organizational objectives. A minimum of five resources are required to support your work. Choose an organization to use for this assessment. It can be where you are currently employed or a company with which you are familiar. It must be an organization that is researchable, as you will need to gather and analyze information to complete the assessment. You may use the same organization for the other assessments in this course. If you choose the organization where you are currently employed, please keep in mind that the analyses you make must be based on facts that can be documented rather than your personal opinion as an employee. 4/5/2022 Writers Hub – Freelance Writing https://www.writershub.org/writer/orders/852537#instructions 2/2 Write a research paper based on your research into the performance management system, which includes training, of the chosen organization. In your paper: • Describe the performance management system currently in place. • Explain how the performance management system is explained and communicated to employees. • Analyze how the current performance management system is effective for the organization or why it needs to be changed. If the system needs to be changed, discuss how current trends of performance management could be incorporated into the current system. • Explain the differences between formal and informal performance feedback processes. • Analyze best practices to improve employee performance. • Analyze the importance of training to meet organizational needs and performance goals. o What should be considered in designing an effective training program? • Explain how training and performance management protect an organization from possible litigation. o What types of litigation might arise? Note: You must address all the required elements of this assessment. If details for any of the bulleted points are unavailable, research the topic and present recommendations you believe would be best for the organization, along with your supporting rationale. By successfully completing this assessment, you will demonstrate your proficiency in the course competencies through the following assessment scoring guide criteria: • Competency 1: Apply human resource strategies to business needs. o Explain how training and performance management protect an organization from possible litigation. o Analyze how the current performance management system is effective for the organization or why it needs to be changed. • Competency 2: Analyze core functions of human resource management. o Describe the performance management system currently in place and how the performance management system is explained and communicated to employees. o Explain the differences in formal and informal performance feedback processes. • Competency 3: Analyze the strategic value of human resource management within a competitive global business environment. o Analyze best practices to improve employee performance. o Analyze the importance of training to meet organizational needs and performance goals. • Competency 4: Communicate effectively in a scholarly and professional manner. o Apply APA formatting to in-text citations and references. o Convey purpose in an appropriate tone and style, incorporating supporting evidence and adhering to organizational, professional, and scholarly writing standards.

    2. Understand divisibility criteria. Develop divisibility criteria for “nontraditional” primes, like 7 or 13. Can you explain why these are not usually mentioned in the regular literature?
  8. Other ideas?
    1. They must be approved by Dr. Counterman prior to starting. Be sure to get your idea to her by the first check in assignment of the project.

determine whether listening to music can have an effect on an individual’s emotions/well-being even when the music does not match the mood experienced by the participants

The purpose of this study is to [1] determine whether listening to music can have an effect on an individual’s emotions/well-being even when the music does not match the mood experienced by the participants, [2] to contribute to the existing evidence regarding the influence of music exposure on cognitive performance and determine whether using an emotional regulation strategy will enhance
the effects of the music compared to the previous experiment where no emotional regulation strategy was used.

The hypothesis is that there will be a significant difference in both mood and cognitive function between people exposed to mood-matching music and those subjected to mismatching music. Additionally, this is expected to be true for both positive and negative valence and there are expected to be more enhanced effects in this replication of the experiment due to the use of the emotional regulation strategy.

Based on your analysis, identify some effective ways to make that change happen.

Change Management Individual Assignment

Question

Select one particular change in business, government or wider society. Describe the change. Analyze the change using one of the theories which we have discussed. Based on your analysis, identify some effective ways to make that change happen. Identify some ways of implementing that change and the risks associated with it.

Word limit 1,000 words.

What am I looking for?

  1. Selects an interesting change process.
  2. Evidence of wider knowledge of that change. It should show you have done some background research on the phenomenon.
  3. The change is clearly described and complexity is captured.
  4. The essay uses a range of appropriate theories which we discussed in the course to analyze the change. It shows both an accurate understanding of these theories as well as an ability to apply those theories. Excellent essays are likely to have gone beyond the assigned readings and lectures and done additional research.
  5. There is likely to be a tradeoff between depth and breadth of theories which you select. You could select one or two topics which we looked at in the course and explore those theories in more depth. Alternatively, you could look at a longer list of theories but not go as much in depth on those theories. The choice is yours to make.
  6. The essay shows an ability to logically connect your analysis with the solutions which you identify. For instance, if you say there are problems with incentives when you would logically suggest some change to the incentive structure.
  7. The essay should show you can think about the practical aspects of actually implementing a change – that means describing some kind of intervention which can actually be done.
  8. You should also consider some of the risks associated with your solutions and potentially how to mitigate those risks.
Write a critical review of an area of business, explicating the implications of that review for a specific research question for further investigation.
Assessment criteria

  • The Assessment Criteria are shown the end of this document.  Your tutor will discuss how your work will be assessed/marked and will explain how the assessment criteria apply to this piece of work. These criteria have been designed for your level of study.
