Based on this scenario, should you be charged with a crime?

Using the information that you learned, consider the following hypothetical scenario: You are driving your car 5 miles over the posted speed limit and you hit an icy patch on the road, causing you to slip off the road and hit and kill an 8-year-old boy, who was riding his bicycle on the sidewalk. Please answer the following questions based on this set of facts and email me your assignment. 1. Based on this scenario, should you be charged with a crime? 2. If so, with what crime should you be charged and why (what elements of the crime apply or do not apply)? 3. If you do not believe that you should be charged with a crime, please explain why. I expect a thorough analysis for this assignment. You may not use outside sources for this assignment. You are to apply concepts from Chapter 10 directly to this fact pattern. I am less concerned about you getting the answer “right” than I am about your ability to demonstrate that you are able to apply the concepts from Chapter 10 (and any other concepts from other chapters that you feel are relevant) to this scenario. Please pay attention to the grading rubric below and be creative!
