Scenario: you are a customer service center manager for netflix

Scenario: You are a customer service center manager for Netflix, and you have been tasked with creating a customer satisfaction survey to evaluate customer interactions with call center representatives. Consider the types of calls and the best-practice experiences that you will want to measure.

Part I

Compose a brief survey with 6 survey questions and a rating scale. You may have no more than one open-ended question. For guidance on how to write effective survey questions, search keyword: “Survey Construction” in peer reviewed resources from the West Online Library and read the following article:

Janes, J. (1999) ‘Survey construction’, Library Hi Tech, 17(3).

Part II

Writea two- to three-page paper, typed and double-spaced, in which you discuss the following components:

  • What are the survey questions designed to measure and why did you choose to measure these components?
    • What method will be used to analyze survey feedback?
    • How will this survey information be used? What levels of the organization will see the results?
    • What change implementation or initiatives will the survey results drive?
    • What tactics will be used to encourage survey participation?
      • Often, front line teams pushback on the accuracy of survey results measuring their performance. How will you address the challenges associated with survey validity based on response rates and customer tendencies?

Include a minimum of two sources, which may consist of readings from the University Library, your text, and other selections.

Which of the two models of the criminal justice system do you think is the best way to handle the shooting at the local gym?

Read the two scenarios provided in the OER which give examples of Herbert L. Packers’ models to describe the functioning of the criminal justice system. Also read chapter 1, particularly the sections explaining these two models. Answer the discussion board questions related to this topic.

Comment and critique one other student’s post. Remember to be detailed and specific in your critique. Just agreeing and or saying “good job” is not sufficient for this part of the assignment. It is perfectly fine to disagree with each other as that is part of any discussion but do so respectfully.

Murder in the Gym: Crime Control Model Example by Dr. Sanchez (Chapter 1 – p. 36).

Imagine working out at the local gym, and a man starts shooting people. This man has no mask on so he is easy to identify. People call 911 and police promptly respond and can arrest the shooter within minutes. Under the crime control model, the police should not have to worry too much about how evidence gets collected and expanded. Investigative, arrest, and search powers would be considered necessary. A crime control model would see this as a slam dunk and no need to waste time or money by ensuring due process rights. If there were any legal technicalities, such as warrantless searches of the suspect’s home, it would obstruct the police from effectively controlling crime. Effective use of time would be to immediately punish, especially since the gym had cameras and the man did not attempt to hide his identity. Any risk of violating individual liberties would be considered secondary over the need to protect and ensure the safety of the community in this model. Additionally, the criminal justice system is responsible for ensuring victim’s rights, especially helping provide justice for those murdered at the gym.

The due process model focuses on having a just and fair criminal justice system for all and a system that does not infringe upon constitutional rights. Further, this model would argue that the system should be more like an ‘obstacle course,’ rather than an ‘assembly line.’ The protection of individual rights and freedoms is of utmost importance and has often be aligned more with a liberal perspective.

Murder in the Gym: Due Process Model by Dr. Sanchez (Chapter 1 – p. 37).

Back to the gym murder, the due process model would want to see all the formalized legal practices afforded to this case in order to hold him accountable for the shooting. If this man did not receive fair and equitable treatment, then the fear is this can happen to other cases and offenders. Therefore, due process wants the system to move through all the stages to avoid mistakes and ensure the rights of all suspects and defendants. If the man in the gym pled not guilty due to the reason of insanity, then he can ask for a jury trial to determine whether he is legally insane. The courts would then try the case and may present evidence to a jury, ultimately deciding his fate. The goal is not to be quick, but to be thorough. Because the Bill of Rights protects the defendant’s rights, the criminal justice system should concentrate on those rights over the victim’s rights, which are not listed. Additionally, limiting police power would be seen as positive to prevent oppressing individuals and stepping on rights. The rules, procedures, and guidelines embedded in the Constitution should be the framework of the criminal justice system, and controlling crime would be secondary. Guilt would get established on the facts and if the government legally followed the correct procedures. If the police searched the gym shooter’s home without a warrant and took evidence then that evidence should be inadmissible, even if that means they cannot win the case.

1. Which of the two models of the criminal justice system do you think is the best way to handle the shooting at the local gym? Explain your answer.

2. Based on what you know about mass shootings in the United States, which model do you think is used when mass shooting suspects are captured alive? Give an example of a specific mass shooting case to justify your answer.

3. Discuss what the primary goal of the criminal justice system should be: to control crime, ensure due process, or both?.

4. Is there ever so much evidence against someone who has committed mass murder, that we should forgo the process and just lock the person away based on the obvious facts? Justify your answer either way.

Discussion Expectations:

The minimum requirements for class discussions are to respond directly to the discussion prompt and to respond to at least two other posts, by other students or the instructor, by the end of the week. The discussion will close on the due date and will NOT be reopened for a late submission.

How does childhood environment influence adult personality?

Literature Review Assignment Guidelines The Literature Review will be evaluated using the following criteria (75 points total): Include in-text citations Introduction (10 points) In the introduction section, you should present the literature review topic and any relevant research questions discussed in class. Provide your rationale for reviewing the topic. In other words, why is it important to study this topic? How does it affect people? You will be graded on your presentation of rationale and following the sequence noted above (i.e., topic, research questions, rationale). Body Paragraphs (50 points) In the body paragraphs of your literature review, you should have the literature organized into coherent themes. You should integrate the studies, their findings, and conclusions based on these themes, rather than presenting each article in sequence. You will work to compare the findings, using the critiques of each study that you discussed in your annotated bibliography to help inform this analysis. You will also be graded on the organization of the material presented. We discussed many alternative ways to organize the body paragraphs of your literature review. For example, you can begin with a broad overview of the topic, and narrow down the review to increasingly specific issues. You could also organize the body paragraphs by literature with similar methodology, samples, or findings. Conclusion (10 points) In the conclusion section, you will provide a summary of the literature review. Discuss the general findings, conclusions, and implications. In other words, discuss why these study findings are important. Why should we, as readers, care? Note any limitations of the review, along with future directions. You will be graded on the clarity of your summary. Can you please make it 3.5 pages if possible? thank you

How can the system of the NCAA conflict with a college coach’s ethics?

Please read the code of ethics for coaching below and then watch “The Scheme” on HBO and answer the listed questions in essay format. Ethics is about an appreciation of what is right and wrong in certain situations, and how to act in those situations. Often ethics will be reduced to a set of rules or guidelines to help individuals act appropriately. In coaching, the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC), the International Coach Federation (ICF) and the International Association of Coaching (IAC) each have their own set of ethical guidelines for their members, which are similar and generally cover the key area of: Competence – the coach is competent and engaged in professional development Context – the coaching is relevant and appropriate to the background context Boundary Management – the coach will not work outside their professional capability and will refer the player to another professional if necessary Integrity – maintain confidentiality within the terms of the contract and unless there are grounds for breaking confidentiality as previously agreed, such as conduct which is dishonest, unlawful, unprofessional or discriminatory Professionalism – act professionally in the best interests of the player/client and not exploit the player/client in any way Ethical guidelines such as these will be strictly adhered to by the vast majority of coaches who take their coaching responsibilities and professionalism very seriously. There will always be situations that fall outside of or are in a grey area of interpretation of an ethical code, and these situations can create ethical dilemmas for the coach as it may be unclear to them how they should best behave or react to maintain ethical professionalism in the situation. On these rare occasions, the coach should resort to professional coaching supervision to help them manage and work through the dilemma in the best interests of the player and client. 1.) How can the system of the NCAA conflict with a college coach’s ethics? 2.) Do you think the Arizona assistant coach on “The Scheme” deserved to do jail time? 3.) Why do you think that Sean Miller, Rick Pitino, and Will Wade we’re not criminally implicated? 4.) Do you see a double standard in the NCAA system as a billion-dollar industry in sports they define as “amateurism”? Please explain 5.) Do you think the FBI could have gone further with their indictments? If yes why? 6.) Was there a lack of ethics displayed by the coaches
