Regardless of sexual orientation, how are men and women similar and different in terms of their attitudes toward sex and love?

just answer part one and two questions, Cite any sources in APA format. No PLagerism.

Part 1

Sexuality is essential to the way one conceives oneself. It may depend on one’s experiences and considerations that often fluctuate throughout his or her lifespan. It gets impacted by different biopsychosocial, economic, cultural, religious, and spiritual factors.

The textbook states that with the passing time, the emotional, intellectual, and physical aspects of sexual desire and expression become fairly stable in both genders. The Western views have equalized aging with dying, so most of the people probably have a confined view of aged adults as sexually active individuals. Unfortunately, our healthcare providers are also not exempted from these stereotypical attitudes.answer the following question:

  • Regardless of sexual orientation, how are men and women similar and different in terms of their attitudes toward sex and love?
  • Describe Sternberg’s Triangular theory of Love. Can you compare a relationship you have experienced to Sternberg’s theory?
  • How does a social cultural message add to the stereotypes toward sexuality in aging population?
  • Are there changes in the sexual behavior of the aged population?
  • Describe the changes in sexuality from puberty through late adulthood. Describe how a person’s definition and experience of sexuality and intimacy often fluctuates throughout his or her lifespan. What are some of the influences as it relates to “changes in sexuality from puberty to late adulthood”?

You may use the following article for your research:

Part 2

Buss, Larsen, Westen, & Semmelroth (1992) studied the differences between the sexes as it related to feelings of jealousy and found that that neither sex was more jealous than the other. However, women get more distressed when they feel emotional infidelity and men get more upset with sexual infidelity.

  • Do you agree or disagree? Why?
  • What is jealousy and what are the different types of jealousies?
  • What are the psychological dimensions of jealousy? Is jealousy always irrational? Can jealousy be based on fears?
  • How does jealousy hurt or help a relationship? How should you effectively deal with jealousy? What suggestions might you offer a friend to assist with managing one’s jealousy?
  • Your textbook presents two theoretical ideas about love that you may use when evaluating relationships. The sociologist, John Lee, describes six styles of love. What are these styles? Are there differences between the styles of women and men? How?

To assess your own body weight and develop a diet and exercise program

Part 1

Define BMI: You must define BMI, though not just with a general definition indicating its relationship to height and weight. Please also do not forget to define the actual term BMI!

Part 2

Calculate BMI: Many students use an automated calculator to complete this part of the assignment. I will deduct points if I do not see the actual math calculations. Please include all stages of the math calculations associated with determining your BMI.

Part 3

Compare/Contrast BMI & Individual Plan: There are three sections to this part of the assignment, and for the first part, you need to designate where your BMI falls according to the standard tables (underweight, normal, overweight, obese). In the second part of the assignment, you need to develop a dietary plan for your BMI value, and for the most part, you need to be as detailed as possible. Basically, I would like to see a “day in your life” according to where your current BMI falls. You need to include how many calories you plan on taking in and why, and you also need to develop a day’s worth of eating with specific foods and portions. As far as the exercise plan, again, you need to be as specific as possible. The goal of this section is to develop a plan that incorporates all of the components of a sound fitness program (flexibility, endurance, strength training, body fat, and cardiovascular), as well as discuss specific exercises that you plan on doing. Basically, the goal is to produce a weekly plan, with specific exercises, that has all of the components of a sound fitness plan.

Explain any two of the following concepts as they apply to an interface of your choice

Part 1: Help Text and a Chosen Interface

Explain any two of the following concepts as they apply to an interface of your choice:

  • Contextual help text
  • Procedural help text
  • Reference help text
  • Conceptual help text

Begin this section with the specific identification of the interface itself. Write in full sentences and provide a separate paragraph for each of your 2 chosen concepts as they apply to this interface. Write at least 80 words for this part of the paper and use appropriate terminology.

Part 2: Typography Concepts

Use appropriate sources and learn more about the study of text.

Define the following terms in a table or bulleted list, writing full sentences for the definitions in your own words. Provide an example of how each one might be used in an interface. Use in-text citations to identify the sources of your information (this means that each definition must be cited).

  • Leading
  • Kerning
  • Tracking
  • Widow
  • Orphan
  • Anti-aliasing

Part 3: Design Concepts

Answer three of the following questions, each in its own paragraph. This part is not research; the content is to be written in your own words, using your critical thinking skills and your understanding from the unit reading. Do not copy the questions. Write at least 35 words for each paragraph.

  • Why is justified alignment not typically considered good design? Does the device make a difference for this?
  • Why is it important to provide well-written headings/subheadings on an interface?
  • Why is text written in all caps harder to read?
  • Why might it be a good idea to use the default color for hyperlinked text?
  • What text design concepts must the designer consider if moving a website application to a mobile application?

Part 4: Accessibility

Not everyone can see the text or graphics on a website. In your own words, discuss at least 2 ways in which websites should consider users with these disabilities.

Understand the views and goals of the two best-known black leaders of the turn-of-the-twentieth century U.S.: Booker T. Washington and W.E.B. DuBois.

Understand the views and goals of the two best-known black leaders of the turn-of-the-twentieth century U.S.:  Booker T. Washington and W.E.B. DuBois.  You will do this by writing an editorial supporting one of the men from a specific historical perspective.  This assignment will help you practice the skills of comparison, analyzing evidence, and argumentation, as well as become more familiar with black history and progressivism in the early twentieth century.

Documents for analysis:

Booker T. Washington, “Atlanta Compromise” (1895), http://historymatters.gmu.edu/d/39/ .

W.E.B. DuBois, “Of Mr. Booker T. Washington and Others” (1903), http://historymatters.gmu.edu/d/40 (also, see the excerpts that are available in this submodule).

Task:

  • First, read both documents carefully, along with pp. 617-619 in the textbook.
  • Second, create a persona and perspective from which to write.  Some suggestions are:
    • a black southern sharecropper.
    • a white Atlanta businessman.
    • a black, female domestic worker in Atlanta.
    • a black 17-year-old living in Harlem.
  • Write an editorial (300-400 words, or more than 1 page and less than 2) in support of DuBois OR Washington from your persona to one of the following newspapers:
    • Chicago Defender – the leading black newspaper of the day.
    • Atlanta Journal – Atlanta daily newspaper; championed the “New South”; very conservative on race.
    • Atlanta Independent – black weekly newspaper published in Atlanta.

In your editorial, include

  • a brief introduction (2-3 sentences) of your character
  • state at least two (2) reasons why you (as your character) support your chosen leader
  • and at least one (1) reason you believe the other leader’s ideas are flawed.
  • Bring in at least one direct quote from each primary source.

In other words, you are comparing the two men, but ultimately supporting one over the other as having the best vision for black Americans, ca. 1903.

For this assignment, you will create a video using any video recording device and develop a 2-3 minute Lope Talk video similar to a Ted Talk, in which you will describe ways to engage and motivate students through the instruction of science. This would be presented as a professional development to fellow science teachers. Select a grade level or grade level strand (K-3, 4-5, or 6-8) as you prepare for this video.

Your video should include:

  • Strategies to engage students through active inquiry within science instruction.
  • Explanation of engagement strategies to support collaboration and interaction.
  • Methods to capture and hold the interest of the students.
  • Two examples of how to incorporate technology.
