What changes need to be made to prepare teachers and students in an independent secondary school for digital education in 2025?

Topic: What changes need to be made to prepare teachers and students in an independent secondary school for digital education in 2025?

Description

The literature review I am requesting is part of my 6000-word Research Proposal for my dissertation next year. For the Literature Review, I need 2000 words which explores current literature in the UK on digital assessment. Authentic assessment using digital tools should also be mentioned. Subsidiary Questions: What opportunities can digital assessment provide for authentic assessment? How might authentic assessment be designed into the adoption of digital assessment? How can teachers prioritise authentic assessment during the adoption of digital assessment?

In your own words, why is it important to study the history of myth’s interpretation?

Description

In the last few sections of this week’s reading out of The Truth of Myth, Thompson and Schrempp offer a birds-eye view of the study of myth and discuss the importance of the history of myth studies for our understanding of how to analyze myth today. They also discuss four “monolithically inclined schools of theory that are now viewed by many as passé, but from which we feel that all students of mythology can retain at least some viable elements”: Dissemination and distribution Social evolutionism Myth-ritualism Psychoanalytic theory In your own words, why is it important to study the history of myth’s interpretation? What is Thompson’s and Schrempp’s underlying concern over the four “monolithically inclined” schools, and do you agree with their sentiments? What insights do you find useful as you move continue to hone your understanding of myth and its interpretation?

What have you learnt? How will this impact on your future activity as a practitioner researcher, engaged in continuing development of your own professional practice?

(400-500 words)

In this final section, you simply reflect on what you have learnt as a result of undertaking your Action Research project and state explicitly how this will influence your teaching in future. You must also reflect on how you have developed as a researcher having carried out this project. What have you learnt? How will this impact on your future activity as a practitioner researcher, engaged in continuing development of your own professional practice?

You should also mention whether you have disseminated your research outcomes to your mentor/the school. Explain clearly how your project will impact on your future CPD needs as well as your future classroom practice.

You could consider the strengths and limitations of the inquiry as a whole and what might be done differently in future action research. Ensure that in this section you specifically refer back to your research question and reflect, very succinctly, on what you have found.

References: (not in word count)

If you are in any doubt how to produce a reference list, please refer to the CELT handbook!!!

I hope this helps – please remember to refer back to the lecture notes on blackboard and don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any queries.

Appendices: (not in word count)

You MUST include your Headteacher’s Consent Form, signed by your Headteacher/mentor.

If you have used a questionnaire include a copy of a blank one of these. You might include one or two samples of children’s work if you have collected this as part of your data.

You do not need to include complete transcriptions of any interviews or focus groups discussions, although you can add small sections as appropriate if you have referred to them in the body of your assignment. Do not add things which are irrelevant to your discussion. Remember, apart from checking the ethics form to see you have stuck to your question and methods for which you were given approval, the appendices will only be looked at if you refer directly to them in your writing.

Explain how three mitigation strategies could have a positive impact on the schedule and budget performance of the project team for the chosen case study

INTRODUCTION In this task, you will practice monitoring and controlling for one project you select from one of two case studies. SCENARIO You are a project manager who is taking over a struggling project. Two projects are at risk of being cancelled by their clients due to a variety of issues. Read the attached “Case Study 5” and “Case Study 6,” and use one of the two case studies when monitoring and controlling a project. REQUIREMENTS Your submission must be your original work. No more than a combined total of 30% of the submission and no more than a 10% match to any one individual source can be directly quoted or closely paraphrased from sources, even if cited correctly. The originality report that is provided when you submit your task can be used as a guide. You must use the rubric to direct the creation of your submission because it provides detailed criteria that will be used to evaluate your work. Each requirement below may be evaluated by more than one rubric aspect. The rubric aspect titles may contain hyperlinks to relevant portions of the course. Complete the attached “Monitoring and Controlling Template” by doing the following: A. Document five new risks for the chosen case study is currently facing by completing the table in the “Risk Assessment” section of the attached “Monitoring and Controlling Template.” The risk assessment needs to include a risk description, the likelihood of the risk occurring, the impact of the risk, the person responsible for mitigating the risk, and a prevention and mitigation strategy for the risk. B. Create a Gantt chart showing the projected timeline and critical path for the chosen case study in the “Gantt Chart” section of the attached “Monitoring and Controlling Template.” C. Provide a completed “Earned Value Analysis” section and a completed “Earned Value Projections” section for the chosen case study in the attached “Monitoring and Controlling Template” by completing the tables in those sections and doing the following: 1. Analyze the current schedule and budget performance of each project workgroup. 2. Estimate the expected completion date and total cost of the project workgroups. 3. Interpret the workgroup analysis and project schedule and cost estimates. TASK OVERVIEW SUBMISSIONS EVALUATION REPORT D. Provide a completed “Burndown Chart” section for the chosen case study in the attached “Monitoring and Controlling Template” by doing the following: 1. Create a burndown chart. 2. Analyze the team’s overall progress in the “Discussion of Burndown Chart” section of the attached “Monitoring and Controlling Template,” using the burndown chart from part D1. E. Explain how three mitigation strategies could have a positive impact on the schedule and budget performance of the project team for the chosen case study in the “Mitigation Plan” section of the attached “Monitoring and Controlling Template.” F. Acknowledge sources, using in-text citations and references, for content that is quoted, paraphrased, or summarized. G. Demonstrate professional communication in the content and presentation of your submission.

develop a research question that builds on prior theory and methods in moral psychology.

Research Proposal Assignment Brief

Weighting: The research proposal is worth 100% of your final mark for this module.

Length: 6 pages (PSY3093), excluding the reference list. The page limit/ word count is the absolute maximum, please do not go over.

Formatting: You must use the guidelines from the Psychology course handbook, in conjunction with APA formatting for references and headings. Please submit the proposal using the Psychology coursework template (will do myself, do not worry about this).

Assessment and Feedback

This assignment will be marked using the research reports section of the Psychology Marking scheme (attached and clearly titled, page 4 to 5, NOT page 6). In addition, you should demonstrate that you have met all three of the learning outcomes for this module (see below).

Learning Outcomes

  1. To build an understanding of the controversies surrounding moral psychology, specifically surrounding definitions and measurement of concepts.
  2. To demonstrate an understanding of the antecedents and consequences of moral concepts.
  3. To develop a research question that builds on prior theory and methods in moral psychology.

General guidance: You should start your research proposal by choosing ONE reading from the reading list, it can be any reference in the whole list. You should use this initial reference to guide your literature search (e.g., readings cited within that reference, PsycINFO searches etc.). Based on your literature search you should identify a research question that you feel has not been answered in the literature to date and use this to develop your hypothesis.

Guidance per section: Below are a few tips for structuring the research proposal, which should include these main sections.

Title: You must include an original title, which reflects the research area.

Introduction: You should outline background research that led to your research question. You should critically review the literature and indicate why your research question is important. You are also expected to present a hypothesis based on the theoretical background and research question. I strongly recommend that the hypothesis is directional rather than open.

Method- It is recommended that your methods are based on prior research, unless it’s a truly novel approach. In this section you need to describe participants, procedure, and materials, demonstrating that you understand and have evaluated previous conceptualizations and measurements through the way that you propose to test your hypothesis, for example, through the materials and procedure you will use.

Results- In this section you need to identify what statistical test you would use to test your hypothesis and what your anticipated results would be, which could be presented in text, figure, or table. You do NOT need to present actual statistics, e.g., exact means, F values, p values etc., as the research has not been conducted. The main point is that the results section should accurately reflect your hypothesis, in terms of direction and what differences or relationships you expect.

Discussion- In this section you should summarize what you expect to find and how your expected results fit in with previous literature. Finally, you should also identify implications and limitations of your research, as well as possible future research.

Which segment of the overall market is most likely to benefit from your venture?

Micro level market assessment:

  1. Market Domain/Micro Level: Sector Market Benefits and Attractiveness

Realistically, it’s unlikely that your venture will meet the needs of everyone in the market. You’ll be more successful if you target your idea at one market sector or segment , and aim to meet its needs fully.

To identify this segment, look at the market on a micro level. Think about the following questions:

  • Which segment of the overall market is most likely to benefit from your venture?
  • How is your venture or product different from others already servicing this segment?
  • What trends is this segment showing? Is it growing, and, if so, is this growth set to continue?
  • What other market segments could you access if you’re successful in this one?

Look for qualitative and quantitative data. Talk to prospective customers to gather feedback on their needs, and to find out how well competitors are meeting these. Then, look for data on the sector you’re targeting, for example, by reading analysts’ reports and market research reports.

Most products don’t actually appeal to an entire market, but rather just a subset of that market. Who are the people within the market that you are going to be serving, and how many of them are there? You can easily make a mistake by thinking you are going to serve an entire market when you are really only targeting a small set of people within that market. In that case, you are left with a market that is significantly smaller than expected, and your sales will likely reflect that fact.

  1. a) Micro level questions about target markets
  2. Is there a target market segment where we might enter the market in which we offer the customer clear and compelling benefits, at a price he or she is willing to pay?
  3. Are these benefits, in the customer’s minds, different from and superior in some way – better, faster, cheaper or whatever – to what’s currently offered by other solutions?
  4. How large is this segment, and how fast is it growing?
  5. Is it likely that our entry into this segment will provide us entry into other segments that wemay wish to target in the future?
  6. b) Three ways to define market segments
  7. Who the customers are i.e demographic terms (age, gender, education, income etc) if itis business to business, then it will refer to the industry in which the customers do business, plus firm size and firm characteristics.
  8. Where the customers are in geographical terms?
  9. By how the customers behave (life style terms) or in business to business how the products may be used.

  1. c) The micro market test
  2. What customer pain will your offering resolve? How strong an incentive do customers have to give you their money? Will customers buy what you propose to offer?
  3. Who precisely are the customers that have the pain? Do you have detailed accurate information about who they are, where they live or do business or what they do?
  4. What benefits does your offering provide that other solutions don’t?
  5. Does the target market have the potential to grow?
  6. Are there other segments that could benefit from a related offering?
  7. Can capabilities that are transferable from one segment to another be developed?
