Grand Canyon University Make a Strong and Lasting Impression Discussion

Please respond paragraph to the following question, add citations and references:When it comes to professional presentations it is important to make a strong and lasting impression. One strength I have is organization. Preforming a professional presentation organization of the information is a necessity to keep the audience engaged and interested in the topic. In addition to informational organization, the topic must relate to the audience. Capturing the audience attention can be half the battle when presenting an idea. By engaging the audience and creating a connection with the information and them; studies have shown that emotional connections but stronger interpersonal relationships (Erkaviran, 2018). In order to keep the audience engaged public speaking skills is also another necessity to keep the audience engage. I have very poor public speaking skills due to the lack of practice. Most of my nursing career I have not had the need for public speaking or presentations as I am often on the audience side of the presentation. Practice is what will allow me to strengthen my public speaking skills; as well as continuously talking to different colleges concerning the topic of discussion. This would not only allow me to be comfortable with the information but comfortable speaking to others and promoting my ideas.Erkayiran, O., & Demirkiran, F. (2018). The Impact of Improving Emotional Intelligence Skills Training on Nursing Students? Interpersonal Relationship Styles: A Quasi-experimental Study. Grand Canyon University Ethics and Spiritual Discussion

****** please respond to discussion question below add citations and references 🙂 *******From my perspective, I believe that spirituality is the common thread that ties all of us together. We may all come from different backgrounds, cultural and religious upbringings but through spirituality we can examine ourselves through an introspective lens. Spirituality is how we connect to ourselves and our soul in the absence of our material environment and how we search for meaning and a deeper purpose for our lives. Spirituality cannot be explored using scientific methods because it involves deeply personal, subjective experiences, and in this it differs from the over-riding ambition of science: to be objective. (Culliford, 2011, p. 1)According to Puchalski (2001), spirituality can be highly influential in the way patients face illness, suffering and mortality. As nurses, we should understand and incorporate spiritual care into our everyday practice. Spiritual care includes serving the patient as a whole person?the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual (Puchalski, 2001). My belief is that through spiritual care, we can provide care that interconnects all humanity. I recognize that my beliefs may be different from my patients and supporting and encouraging their spiritual practice that guides and heals them is essential for the compassionate care I provide. Working as a nurse on a behavioral health unit, I often see patients in trauma, despair, and a sense of hopelessness. Recognizing how spirituality and faith can uplift an individual can re-establish a sense of hope and provide comfort at a time when they may need it the most.ReferencesCulliford, L. (2011). GB 540 University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Utility Maximization Discussion

a Business question . Utility MaximizationOne of the main principles behind mainstream, neoclassical economic theory, is that individuals act to maximize their utility. Utility is generally defined as a satisfaction (pleasure) that an individual derives from consuming or using a specific good or service. Total utility indicates the total amount of satisfaction or pleasure an individual derives from consuming some specific quantity of a good or service. Marginal utility refers to the additional satisfaction a consumer gets from an additional unit of a good or service she/he consumes during a given period of time. The law of diminishing marginal utility states that as an individual consumes more and more units of a specific good or service, the additional utility the consumer derives from the successive units keep on diminishing (declining) over time. Thus diminishing marginal utility explains a lot about consumer behavior in the market economy.
