This activity requires you to spend some time viewing the world using the perspective of the social construction of disability. For at least two days, record observations that illustrate ways that disability is being socially constructed in society. For each observation, describe what you observed and then briefly explain how your observation illustrates the social construction of disability, linking your explanation to the module reading. (An “observation” can be something you saw or heard or read). Your response should include at least two separate observations recorded over at least two days. Each of your examples should illustrate a different way that disability is socially constructed.
