Aims:

This module aims to further develop students’ knowledge and critical understanding of research methods, ethics and governance, in order to critically analyse, safely use, share and apply research findings to promote and inform best professional practice.

Learning Outcomes:

On successful completion of this module a student will be able to:

  1. Demonstrate comprehensive evidence searching skills for there trieval of relevant research evidence using appropriate online databases and relevant critical appraisal tool.
  2. Critically appraise research design sand methodologies.
  3. Critically appraise research and other evidence for its validity and

usefulness.
