Description

The task is a creative writing short story for my english assignment. The task is to take a key idea from a poem and write 800-1000 story on it (i would prefer closer to the 800-850 mark). The poem I’ve chosen is called “on a tree fallen across the road” by Robert a Frost. The key theme i wanted to carry through was the idea of facing obstacles in life. An idea i has was the main character giving money to someone in need as a gift of charity and sitting down with them, having a talk – just understanding that other people have difficulties and hardships worse than ours.. Also having a reoccurring motif or metaphorical symbol would be amazing but I’m yet to figure out what to use, so ill let you figure that out. (also no references as its a story)
