Go to the website of one of the nonprofits listed below (not already selected by another student) and poke around looking for their financial information (usually in an “annual report” section). If you can’t find the info on their website, then go to guidestar.org and access one of their IRS Form 990 Reports – the info will be in that. In order to access that, you may have to register (free) on Guidestar.org < <Research the following: <1. How much is their total revenue for the most recent year reported? <2. How much of their revenue comes from governmental money? <3. What is their percentage of total support that comes from governmental money? <4.
