ADDITIONAL GUIDANCE ● This report must be fully referenced (using the Harvard Reference system) and supported by relevant evidence. ● All work must be word-processed (main text font size should be 11 or 12) and double spaced. The word count must be declared at the end of the main body of the work. ● Students will be expected to justify their choice of question by referencing relevant media that informs the discussion or analysis, and are encouraged to use as wide a range of source material to ensure a fully coherent report. This is an assessment that requires self-guided learning and should not rely purely upon lecture content. ● It is important that students understand they are not being asked to discuss their question in the context of their personal career development but in the context of the music industry ● Do not submit work 5 minutes before the deadline as your project files will be large and may take a long time to upload. In previous years, students have experienced a 2-hour upload time. ● The submission timestamp is taken from the point that your upload is complete, not the point that you press the submit button. ● Work submitted after the deadline will not be marked. ● When submitting files using a Google Drive link you must ensure you follow the correct procedure and set access permissions to ‘anyone with the link can view…’ ● It is your responsibility to ensure any video and audio are clear on the submitted recordings, and that files are accessible to/viewable by the assessor. ● Do not submit written work in .pages format. This work may not be marked due to accessibility concerns. You should submit as Google Doc/Word/PDF format ● If you have any questions about your assessment contact your Cohort Tutor or Module Lead.
